Actually he should probably stay at that price, I’m not saying I wasn’t amazed, it was amazing, I’m not talking about how good he is, but the thing is, if a person is looking to get a photo edit, they will look for something cheap but good, they will expect that he isn’t very good because of how cheap he is, but then find him ver good and keep coming back TL;DR: People will keep going to him if he stays at a cheap price.

I think the 5$ guy was Indian. And 5$ in India is more than 350 Rs/- and it's a good price. He even had many ratings so we can say he earns more than that 210$ guy.😊

but at the same time, maybe they just wanna put their art/skills out there for 5$. bc they are not doing it for the money but for fun. but i get what you mean,. some of them 5$ ones are so better than the 100+$ ones. but yeah for 5$ they do amazing work and should prob up their price bc it's worth it. but the thing is, most of the time when someone sees a 5$ deal on fiverr you kinda skip it bc you think it wont be good. so you look for those 20$+ deals instead bc the more it cost the better it should be right?

They are a bit crap compared to a real Retoucher who brings ideas and composition, that would actually fool you. I’m sad for an industry that’s being commoditised to the cheapest price because eventually, that’s what clients will buy and the craft will be killed off because no one will be allowed to spend more than a couple of hours on a job.

That's just how business works, duh. The rich also have to take responsibility when their company goes bankrupt. The customer is going to sue the $210 guy if he/she is not satisfied, the $5 guy will get away no problem. Surely the customer rarely complains, but there's still some risk. Whereas the employees have a relatively stable life. Most of the time Being rich is a gamble

It's not that the last dude charges so much that annoys me, it's that he's a verified pro. Verified pros are usually actually really really good. That revision showed how little that guy actually knows about Photoshop, the revision was worse than the original. The $5 dollars guy was genuinely 100x better.

He had just airbrushed in no texture paint into the middle distance. A mistake ,a few of them made. He’s an amateur, pretending to be a professional. There are literally tens of thousands of these kind of people on the photoshop market. What is the really depressing thing, is that most of them don’t KNOW how bad they actually are.

Also you forgot theres a posibility that he take work and pay a 5 dollar guy to do the actual work and then the customer pays out then he keeps the 200 but he takes more risk because if customer is not satisfied he will be the one responsible while the worker has no problem

Funny you should say that... I actually know a guy who does the same thing in programming. He just sends the Instructions from the client to a guy in India and gives him about a third if the money he gets from the client. So hes basically not doing anything and makes good money

i think the snow image wasnt planed to look real, its like an collage or maybe some designish thing, if u look close u can see the rectangle behind the mountain. so from that perspective i kinda like it

Khizar Ansari I think it’s definitely looks the best. But in my opinion I still think it looks fake. The idea of the composite itself just seems too fake for me, but $25 did a great job.

The first guy was the only one who understood the context of the photo - its the woman that needs to stand out in the photo, not the background. Large looking mountain is making the woman appear less relevant and diverts most of the attention from foreground to background.

I remember this from the time and I remember why I thought it looked wrong: IRL the bottom part of the mountain would dissolve into haze as it got nearer the horizon, with the top being more distinct.

So what I got from this video is that Fiverr verifying someone as a 'pro' means absolutely nothing since that $210 guy they verified completely scammed you. This really doesn't make me want to use their site. I hope you report that guy and get your money back.

it doesnt necessarily ... the 210 dollar guy might be longer in fiverr and has many good reviews by its client but maybe he started also as a 5 dollar guy and we cant please everyone and also it also depends on what concept to be edited dependind on the participants the 25 dollar guy may lost to another 5 dollar guy.. just sayin

Having a mountain like that in the desert is definitely possible. In Afghanistan currently, and it's very possible to get a shot similar to this with a mountain in the background with snow on it while the subject is standing in desert terrain.
