I was thinking about the saying "an apple doesn't fall far from the tree" which would be a nice hint to the two girls getting along so well because they share the same father

I guess the apple on that cover for “Two faces, merging” can be a reference to the phrase “The apple doesn't fall far from the tree” (because these girls are sisters) or maybe to New York (where the story is setting) as it is usually called “The Big Apple”.

The "Saturn Has Seven Rings" cover is so gorgeous. I think also because they did a sort of purple-y background colour, rather than a black, it just makes it look more sophisticated and original.

Fun fact: Jack named a character Sally Monella, for salmonella and the word “monella” it’s Italian and it means “naughty girl” and it is usually referred to kids to reproach them.

I actually really like the idea of Captain Patroclus of the Achilles. You have that implication of lovers but also that idea that a captain's first love is his ship, and then of course any ship called the Achilles has got to be some invulnerable dreadnought. I think my favorite was actually the first one by that artist though-I wish he'd actually requested a modification with a different title font. But that's just me. The second one was definitely creative tho, and did have a great color-scheme!^-^

The Walter Bottell thing made me chuckle. And then immediately think of an old teammate of mine, George Bovell, who is a 5-time Olympic swimmer and 2004 bronze medalist with a very developed philosophical streak and totally could/would/should write a book like that.

This was incredible! I LOVE the 'Two faces merging' covers and the sci-fi one. That one was stunning, really. Even the self-help book cover was nice, very Sally Rooney style. Incredible. Thanks for sharing. ^^

i haven’t seen anyone mention it, but the dripping paint cover has two faces as well! one on the top left and one upside-down on the bottom right. it’s a really neat design detail.

Can i just say, im so happy to have found your channels! Honestly, you really inspire me. I went to school for a book arts and creative writing and graduated a few years ago.
