I paint a 40x30inch oil painting of an underwater scene.
I am an artist residing in washington state! My paintings are heavily inspired by nature and its beauty. I work primarily in oil paint, and sometimes watercolor. I prefer to work in a mostly realistic style and occasionally experiment outside of that. I post oil painting time lapses, painting lessons and tutorials, drawings, art tips, and occasionally artist vlogs where I share bits of my life as an artist. Creating art is my greatest passion and I'm thankful for the chance to share it with you. ♥

That's what I love about art, when I'm painting or drawing I get completely lost in it to the point that I lose all perception of the world around me a feeling of total isolation and calm in a life where I'm struggling with cancer.

It's more understanding of techniques of how to draw and paint including a trained eye to see how the world or reference looks like in shading and color. The term "talented" is overused.

Just as I'm in this weird spot of "I was always 99% sure I will never want kids, and I'm suddenly questioning that now". I will never get over how people take colors that look like they don't belong as part of something, like these dark greens for the water or the purples for the dress, and then make them seem obvious in retrospect once the piece is done. amazing.

This is lovely! I am always blown away at how you can paint so photo realistically. It’s mind bending. I know all to well the devotion that can come from taking care of your child to the point where you no longer see yourself and you forget that there was things you loved to do. I took way too long to get back to painting but I am so glad that I returned to it again. I’m looking forward to your next one.

Amazing! I cant comprehend for the life of me how you and other creative painters manage to make it looks so realistic! I don't understand how people can see the colors and how to go about colors at all. But i do appreciate talented art! All i can think of is to compare it to when i'm playing my guitar and creating music without any real aim in the moment, but suddenly as you so neatly described you reach a point in the process where everything just kind of clicks and it reveals itself to you. My bandmates usually just call it "being in the zone". Lovely work Miss! Is there any possibility order paintings that are scaled up? I watched your site and found a really nice painting i wanted but it wasn't the right size i had in mind, is it possible to get paintings of let's say 23.4 x 33.1 inches (A1)? I'm asking because i'm not familiar with the limitations of this stuff.
