I captured whirlpool galaxy with my homemade telescope and eq platform, deep sky object with home made telescope.
Friends, In this vedio I tried to show How I captured a deep sky object , whirlpool galaxy (M51) with my homemade dobsonian telescope and homemade equatorial platform.

Sir why the result was not good ? The image was grainy . I mean you have a 8 inch telescope and tracking also . You should get great results .

Becz I stacked only 10 images , and the images were at high iso 6400, and I didnot use any calinbration frame .

Yes , a right angle diagonal is very useful.

How did you kept the Mount balanced after attaching the DSLR to it...? Have you any locking system for that ??

I designed my tube such a way that it can balance with dslr . No i did not use any locking system.

I clicked a photo of exposer 30sec , which is maximum expo of my dslr, and i didnot find any star trail.

Don't we need A refractor telescope to capture galaxies or deep skies because reflecting telescope Cut out the field of view ??? can U Explain me how this works

Short focal length means large field of view, but low magnification. And long focal length means small field of view but high magnification , whether it is refractor or reflector telescope, no matter.
