The boring part about playing poker for a living is that we only get to play 25% of the hands we're dealt. The remaining 75%, we are supposed to just fold.
I wasn't feeling much like folding though, so I decided to play 40% of hands instead for a 60-minute session.
Can I actually make any money playing so many hands? Watch until the end to see the graph for the session.

Do you have any opinion about population tendency regarding the exact bet size. For example it's a 15$ pot. Is it an important difference in fold eq between a 9.9$, 10$ or 10.1$ bet? or which is more bluffed?

@saulocostapoker 5 ай бұрын
Hey mate. We're not currently taking someone playing so low. Why don't you deposit a bit more and play higher stakes online? You could play 50nl with a 5k bankroll, which is only 20% of your total bankroll
@blakeengland7784
@blakeengland7784 5 ай бұрын
@@saulocostapoker I don't play higher because I need coaching. I have a larger bankroll then most of your students and I'm not saying that to be rude but you know it's true. I am not beating online at any type of rate to be able to justify the investment. I need coaching. Either I'm getting bored and fancy, or they are just 100x better on ACR/ClubGG.
@PhonyBologna
@PhonyBologna 5 ай бұрын
@@blakeengland7784 live and online are quite a bit different. If I had to summarize quickly low and mid stakes. Both live and online you need to over fold versus 3b, check raises, river raises and large bets. Online they overfold versus bets, live pool generally under folds, so you need to be more linear with 3b and bet thiner in live poker. Both pools over fold to 4b barreling, live they call 4b more correctly, but often over fold post to a story that makes sense. Obviously 1/2 they may only 3b with JJ+ AK, if that's the case then you have to adjust. Anyhow, good luck!

What’s the theory behind Tiny bets in 3x broadway or 2x broadway boards in 3b pots??? Why not just check
@saulocostapoker
@saulocostapoker 5 ай бұрын
Tiny bets put pressure on the low pocket pair region on those boards, which is always a substantial region of a range that called a preflop 3bet. The EVs are close between bet tiny and check, but it's easier to create balanced strategy that bets tiny than one that checks, and then population will also make lots of mistakes vs the tiny bet

Why no flatting? If you want to reach 40% vpip shouldn't you be flatting all broadways and Axo Kxs hands on the button against a raise? I know this makes it a lot harder to be profitable but it would be fun to try hehehe
