Imagine getting angry because someone didn’t deliver a gift to someone who moved away 16 years ago cmon Pate manage your time better.

I did some extra bit of math for that 199 months to see what month this person actually stopped playing, and it turns out it's 16 years and 7mo. Which means their last save when they stopped playing in November of 2006.

This is actually so cool to see because this town is clearly inspired by the show Bonanza. It's an older show that takes place at the Ponderosa (probably shortened in the file for character limit.) It features the family of Ben (the father), Joe, Hoss, and Adam (the brothers) along with some supporting class. It's basically a big ol' cowboy show. The reason I know this is cause it's my mom's childhood show and it's her special interest. She has dolls of the characters made by her online friends. I thought nothing of the Ponderosa name until I saw the player character names and realized it's an homage to the show! That's actually really cool :) just thought I'd share that little tidbit of info for anyone that isn't aware. I would guess the symbols by the character names are just ones the original town owner though fit the characters. I honestly gotta show this to my mom, she will get such a kick out of it 😂 /gen /lh Edit: Fixed a typo

This is that rare 3 level type of town. Most Animal Crossing towns on GameCube only had two levels. I remember when I made my second town as a kid, I kept resetting until I got the 3 level town. It took hours because it’s rare. Also, loved the content. Definitely subscribed!

This feels almost like reading someone's diary! Seems like the original owner was a dedicated player. It's been a few years since I last played the OG game but I believe the longest was 50 or 60 months.

In 2020 the apartment I lived in burnt down. I was able to go back and try to salvage what I could, I was able to get a lot of important things like birth certificate, social security card, etc., but between the fire damage and the obvious signs of looting I still lost pretty much everything. One of the things I wasn't able to get back was my 3DS, I was able to find most of my games for it but the actual 3DS with my Animal Crossing New Leaf inside was nowhere to be found, since I found the games and kept it all in the same spot I think it's safe to assume it was stolen. Whenever I watch these it makes me wonder if it was truly taken that whoever took is is taking good care of my villagers and keeping my town in order.

Seeing Animal Crossing for the GameCube makes me feel so nostalgic. 🥺

Oh man, I remember when they used to ask me to deliver things to villagers that had moved away! It was so stressful! I could sometimes find them in another village, because I had three memory cards to travel between. But sometimes I just had to give up. And I for sure never successfully polished Gracie’s car to her satisfaction...I would think I did such a good job, then she’d be like “it’s okay I guess. Here’s some garbage clothes” Please do more of these! I loved it! So nostalgic!

The noises, the clicks, the music, the extremely fast loading screens....man this was such a good time. Miss this era.

This showed up on my Recommended and I'm so glad I clicked on it! What a neat concept for a video, I really enjoyed this! Made me a bit misty-eyed because of the nostalgia. This is someone's beloved save file that probably lives on fondly in their memories ;w; I'd love to see more of this!

This was really cool! I had to laugh when I heard the torn tune played and it was the theme from that old show Bonanza 😂 Which explains the decor and the villager names, honestly. What a great eBay find! The old games were pretty savage sometimes. I started playing when they came out with City Folk and once I revisited my village after 2 years of not playing. Kiki lived right next door to me so she was the first to see me. Not only did she tell me how surprised she was and how long it had been, she told me she’d thought I’d died… 😳 Um… thanks? I mean, how do you react when one of your villagers that hasn’t seen you in two years greets you by saying, “I thought you died!” 😂 The older versions were much more savage, but in that respect I thought they were kind of funny. Who thinks to put dialogue like that in a kid friendly game?! 🤣

omg this is such a good idea for a video!!! i actually experienced something like this once: when i was a kid in the mid 2000s, i got a playstation 2 that was originally my (now) brother in law's. like, he owned it and used it primarily, but he lived with my sister in her bedroom at my house so when their friends would come over, they'd play it too. my mom bought it off him after he got an xbox 360 and i got it. it came with a memory card with every game he'd ever played still saved to it and i still use it to this day. i had gotten his copy of grand theft auto san andreas along with it and was able to play the game fully finished with cheats and hacks and everything. that save file is still on it haha. these days i only use the playstation 2 to play the guitar hero series, but it's really cool when i play a song on guitar hero and see 14-17 year old top scores from my brother in law, sister, and their friends (some of which are now deceased). this video reminded me of that, thank you for this video, many thanks for the lil walk down memory lane, and thank you for being so creative! i feel like i've watched every video pertaining to ACGC so i'm so happy to see something so refreshing! def subscribing ^-^

Neat! So the last time this was played was in 2006! I always wondered what the villagers would say if you went back after so many years. It’s neat to see that and to just see the GC version again! Makes me feel so nostalgic!!!

It’s from the TV show Bonanza from late 50’s! Those are the names of the characters in a tv show from a LONG time ago and Ponderosa was the name of their ranch.

My very first AC experience was on a hand me down WW cart from a friend of a friend of a friend of my dad. I played on their town for almost four months until my sister deleted and restarted it!

I am this many years old when I made the connection between the Resetti’s and resetting an AC game. 😅. (Please note, I’m 67 - my sons played all the early versions and I always participated!). Love these videos - I’m a big ACNH fan and still play on the switch my guys got me years back when it first came out!
