The story of the Father in the caves is by far the most interesting story in honest hearts. Everyone who ranks honest hearts low just completely neglects going in the fucking caves

I love how High Confessor Tektus is a perfect blend of Mola Ram and Colonel Kurtz. The crazy fanaticism of Mola Ram but tempered with the focus of Colonel Kurtz.

I agree with this tier list and I share many of your points , but you forgot to mention one of the greatest side quests in the franchise (The Survivalist of Zion, in the Honest Hearts DLC). Just that tiny detail, as I said, i would rank them the same as you

It's a great story, but it's not a main or side quest - it's a scavenger hunt for people who want to dig deeper into the world of Zion and that's really cool, but i'm looking at more than one great part.

@@ShaggyMcSwaggy Fair option honestly, and I missed a lot of the significance as most people did, but it’s tied to the story of Zion. The sorrows tribe is actually the children that Randall Clark was helping before he died! I’m just really into it as I just played it. Also I love Joshua graham he’s goated

yeah, honest hearts is empty. it has 1 good character in joshua, which you barely interact with, and randall clark...which isn't even a quest. it's a bad DLC.

@ShaggyMcSwaggy Yes... The scavenger hunt is literally thematically relevant. Would you have preferred map markers and a historian to tell you his story. God forbid we have to think and experience environmental story telling. 😂😂😂

To be fair from what you showed for old world blues, you were using the sound wave gun in its base form, and it has like 6 different sound options to help against specific enemy types,

That's fair, I'm seeing the different kinds now. All of them say bonus damage against robots and power armor wearers which really only applies to the scorpions and other hostile bots around, but with different effects. Does the damage scale up on each?

@ShaggyMcSwaggy yeah. Some of them do more damage and require more energy weapons skill to use. Also use 2-3 ammo per shot (Extra damage against power armour/robots stays the same)

I feel like it’s a good and somewhat agreeable tier list. Only thing that is a little bit dirty is putting Honest Hearts in the same tier as Operation anchorage, that’s slighlty unfair. But it’s been years since i played them, so maybe i don’t remember them very well..

Missing the Fallout Tactics Bonus Disc DLC. Adds a new story mission, a new vehicle, new art and extras, and instructions for an offline RPG tabletop game

Since I got back into fallout I'm turned off by how everyone is talking about new vegas fans in a hostile way. I'm not doubting that there's probably a reason for this outburst but I don't think you realize how this is adding to the toxicity and the drama. If you call people unhinged, I'm sure someone might take issue and do the same. Which was probably not your intention. I only comment here because this is a chill and entertaining video and I'm sure you have your reasons for feeling the way you do, but from my side I see disproportionately more people complaining about new vegas fans than I see actual new vegas fans acting in the way that you describe.

I think it's a bit different being a content creator. My last video had many flagged comments from multiple NV fans insulting me or telling me to kill myself just because I like Fallout 3 a little more. If someone has that much animosity towards a random person for having an opinion on a video game that they don't agree with, they need their priorities straightened out. I appreciate the comment though and understand where you're coming from.

Being insulted for being a fan of any of the games more than NV is unfortunately commonplace and has deterred many fans from speaking up about their enjoyment of a certain game in the franchise if it isn’t NV. Which is sad as I think the fanbase should thrive. But those jumping on at 4 or 76 for example get lambasted for liking it

The Pitt was way more broken than any of the other dlc. It was ridiculous with the massive holes in the map.

Oh I really liked them, I just didn't engage with them as much as they seemed like more of a cult-like/divisive group. If I run Far Harbor again, I'd probably go through their story and questlines more than I did!

@@WhiffyFiber9927 probably a good idea, I played many of these DLCs with the intent of having zero emotions. Stole Ashur's baby, killed his wife, and had all the trogs run loose. Bombed Caesar's Legion and the NCR for Lonesome Road. Bombed the children of atom in Far Harbor, let the raiders from Nuka-World take over my settlements - it was a never ending cycle lmao

Due to my love for fallout 3 i have all dlc in S but its strickly because 3 is my favorite and i storngly dislike NV.... but i did love the dead money dlc, found old wolrd blues more annoying that fun due to the scientists endless talking and the robo scorpions felt kind of stupid, found lonesome road very enjoyable to explore but felt it was only added to put enemies into the game due to how few there were in the base game which was empty and bland, and honest hearts felt extremely short despite its awesome opening but it also felt silly with virtually unarmoured tribals having ridiculously high armor.... point lookout, pitt and mothership are 3 of my most favorite dlc of any game, so much nostalgia for mothership running around the alien ship in my teens blowing the heads off aliens with a maxed out plasma rifle or the gauss rifle.... 4 dlc felt a bit of a let down despite loving far harbour and nuka world but felt there should of been another big dlc....

The weapons you get are a blast to use - ANNND here's me being stubbornly stuck on UNARMED. lol. Weapons? What weapons; we don't need no stinkin' weapons... Then again, maybe we do * Higher pitch after encountering several of the larger tougher creatures in the wasteland * - Fifteenth Fast & Furious move; bruh... I think you're over-estimating their chances. Besides, if Tyrese isn't wrong by that point they'll all be factually immortal Demigods. o.O What do you mean they already are?!? For me Dead Money is the WORST possible Fallout DLC of all time. Mostly because a) I hate puzzles in RPG's, b) I absolutely do not play an RPG for "stealth" mechanics, and c) limited resources and getting all your hard won shit stolen from the off. But for some reason people like it. I think it's one of those love it or hate it things really. 23:51 = There isn't a single thing I can think of while playing this DLC: So... DIMA's bullshit tower defense puzzle section doesn't come to mind???

Cool tier list! However, there is some I disagree with. Example: I would put F3 the Pitt above Far Harbor & Dead Money. Also, I would put Lonesome Road at B. Lonesome Road is a good DLC but I was a bit disappointed with Ulysses connection to the courier(I was kind of hoping that they were old friends, but the courier forgot because of the bullet to the head). It felt a bit underwhelming and his constant bear & bull speeches was getting a bit irritating over time.

Right, we clearly had different experiences and that's fine, but also I played these DLCs in April and May of this year. OWB crashed a bunch while The Pitt ran smoothly and that's the best I can go off of.

I’m about to throw a brick in here. Operation anchorage is better than dead money. It has better loot, it gives you power armor training early and has better gameplay. Yes I do admit that dead money has the best story but when considering how bugged dead money is, it’s suddenly not very pretty in comparison. Not to mention the samey environment that’s easy to get lost in. Edit: i was wrong check replys.

@@allbottledup9513 I enjoyed the world of OWB but story is alright. although IMO the story is a lot more solid than Lonesome Road. LR just feels like walking all the way to listen to Ulysses. Dead Money is peak though i enjoyed the vibe very much, and story was prob the best of the DLCs

It's so rare that someone like me love The Pitt from F3 and Dead Money from NV so much. But also I kinda hate Lonesome Road. The antagonist is hypocrite and annoying. Also the end if you fail is not that important, just for the area... meh. Again stupid antagonist. I played it at the very end so get bored quickly also.

Dead Money is the worst DLC I've ever played - Nonsensical from start to finish. The single most overrated piece of content in gaming I'd wager.
