I would love to see Pichu next. I haven’t really heard many people talk about him since like 2019 when he was a top tier. Also I wanna hear your thoughts on what makes him worse than Pikachu, besides his weight. And maybe somethings he does better than pika
@jonathanb.89142 жыл бұрын
Pichu is lighter, does damage to himself, can't pancake as well despite being smaller, and can't camp as hard as Pika. Pika also has better combos and can kill you at like 30 off of a grab with up air bridges. All around, pichu isn't bad, he just isn't as good as the best character in the game. Go figure.

Hey I’m the banjo player, loved our set and I’m surprised how friggin insane your dk is. I’ll make sure I’ll beat you next time
@bareinhard19792 жыл бұрын
Well done poppt! A couple things if you’re interested in hearing from a DK main. In the Steve MU, when he uses blocks on the stage down b does not break them. If you break the bottom block you can run under the middle and top block. DK has a decent movement mix up in the form of aerial down b. You can use it in the form of aerial b reverse momentum cancel, which lets you land and change your momentum mid air. Changing direction mid air so you can threaten more space with back air when recovering can be done with b reverse charge cancel, also let’s you charge giant punch offstage. Grounded hand slap is a great tool to use to cover tech options/spot dodges/shield. It also covers decent space in front and behind DK. Run up and space on shield pressures shield while being semi safe. However it can be punished when done on shield if you keep holding it. However if you get the hit it can lead into a back air or up air. And probably the biggest one is learning how to drift during his recovery off stage, in the instances you got countered offstage those can be avoided if you to drift back. Additionally, double jump back, b reverse up b is a great mixup for recovering. PDKO (ding dong) is an amazing kill confirm and much easier offline. You can follow the dust trail on the throw so you track their DI. Downward angle f tilt can 2 frame and is a great way to threaten ledge hang

I think when you play with a character out of how fun they are to you is when you can do some radical shit. Always love watching you play and talk about how you see it through your eyes.
@Shispanic2 жыл бұрын
Seeing this in action was actually really awesome. I know I always have trouble catching on to player habits (in tournament and online), so it's cool to see how observant you are of those kinds of things while playing and even afterwards while reviewing the set. Honestly, it reminds me a bit of some of M2K's analysis videos (although not as framedata heavy, which I think is a good choice) where you aren't looking at every moment of the set, but actually breaking down the key moments that contribute to the overall pace and decision making by the players.
