For warlord yeah everything you just said but also just more stamina or lower Stam costs from full guard and lower stam costs from feinting attacks cause it feels like you feint twice and your out of stamina

That's why I love pirate, he's so simple that anyone can use and is incredibly powerful against people who throw attacks right after you're done attacking, either dodge recovery or just dodge attacking.

Ever since Conqueror and Shugoki got their big reworks in the olden days, Warlord has been my go-to hero; He didn't have the ridiculous quirks of the other old heavies (passive HA and passive Superior Block) but his fullblock is a thing of beauty in it's own right.

All they need to do is nerf her forward doge attack to not have a unblockable. And take away her doge recovery

@@Stinky47 I would also either slow down her side dodge or make it a light parry. The armor on it is fine, its pretty easy to bait out side dodge attacks from most people, it's just too fast to be a heavy parry imo

Warlord's fun has always been the FBS and CC's for me; the throw range/crashing charge are mostly just icing on the cake. If I could change one thing about Warlord it'd be giving him proper heavies out of fullblock (as opposed to the "fbs heavy" that's almost identical to his zone attack) Beyond that I think he's just an amazing hero. (though i guess having no dodge attacks is a problem in today's fast recovery bash meta) I don't play FH too often anymore these days, but when I do I always enjoy Warlord (and, for similar reasons, Valkyrie)

@@bdgctruz5786 because warlord isn't pirate, duh. Warlord has his own unique play style that works if used correctly and is viable in every situation. The argument that if pirate has it so should warlord is dumb af. Personally I think warlords moveset is perfect the way it is and all it needs is some optimization to increase his flow they should decrease his overall recovery speed to make him be able to dish out moves faster, his full guard should be soft feintable from heavies, also he should be able to enter full guard faster and more seamlessly and finally his zone should take as much stamina as a regular heavy and it should do 20 dmg as it is his only viable dodge catcher. And with all of those warlord should be a top tier character with his own play style

Warlord shouldn't have unlockables, tbh they need to cut down on the unlockables cause it seems like every new hero or rework now has a mega dump of unlockables and it makes everything more annoying

best FB in the game? lmaoo what a clown. he literally has the worst full block along with valkyrie, atleast valkyrie can cancel her's into a guardbreak for 24 dmg, or 26dmg if u choose to do sweep, plus can ledge. while warlord only gets 15dmg. BP, aramusha, conq all have better FBs by alot.

Yeah, he’s one of my mains and some games are pretty brutal if my openers refuse to respect my hyper armor and FA by continuing their attacks

@@verrat3219 I said one of, reason being he is really safe when he is in it. He can light/heavy or dodge out of it, meaning that while he is in it the opponent has to wait for the wl to do something. He can go into FB in reaction to lights, so he can go FB on red and if the opponent reads for it and throws a heavy into gb the WL can throw a CC light in the direction of the heavy and still be safe from the mix up. You can't bash him out of it neither cause he can dodge out of it. That's why IMHO he has a really good FB. You should try actually giving proper feedback, instead of immediately going for insults my man...

@@fernandopina3010 I agree, very valid point made. I think other FB’s like Musha & Kyoshin are just overtuned do it makes Warlord’s look worse than it really is. I think he’s a pretty balanced character rn which imo is a good thing. Customization is pretty good, nice executions, good feats, etc. WL is pretty great all around.

You also have a free disengage tool, finisher heavy while trying to moving backwards will move you so far away while in recovery it isn't even funny

I also disagreed. Warlord is an old simple character. A lot of the others have fancier moves. Plus parry bash nerfs. Like he's great but mobility and fun feats seems to be the meta right now especially after making dodges safer

What does option select even mean

@@angelpappan Before Ubisoft removed it, Option Select allowed you to not have to read or guess your opponents mixup since you could basically interupt their move without very little or no punishments at all. If a Raider wanted to do his zone mixup, you could either zone option it, or guard break it instead of having to guess, predict, or react to what the mixup is. That ruined what a mixup was supposed to do which is to get you to react when you wanted to open your opponent up.

@@angelpappan so basically, someone throws an unlockable heavy at you, you press the zone button. If they feint, they get hit, if they let if fly, you party it most the time. Pretty busted, devs saw n was like we gonna shut dat down. There's still ways around intrinsic to key bindings.
