I Played In my FIRST Chinese 9-Man Volleyball Tournament!

10 ай бұрынThis had to be one of..if not the craziest volleyball experience of my life. Chinese 9 Man has to be the most hectic form of volleyball in the entire world. Luckily the stars aligned and I was in the D.C. area and my boy, Joe Malek, was playing with Chicago United in an open Chinese 9 Man Volleyball tournament. The reason I say open is because for most of these type of tournaments you have to have a certain percentage of Asian ethnicity (which I do not have😂) in order to play. Buttttt, there are a few tournaments that forgo that rule and allow for all ethnicities to play. So the stars aligned and here we are at our first EVER 9 man tournament!

Fascinating, ever thought about trying Hmong Volleyball? Huge community, around July 4th there is a tournament in MN considered the big dance with Teams coming all over like cali, wi, ri, mi, nc, and OK . Also have tournaments every memorial day, and labor day.

Asics wrestling shoes are my best... Jus perfect. Better than the Court or volleyball shoes..

Idk.... It's jus too weird of a format...I wouldn't play that at all.... If u a good player n can move fast enough..you will noticed that 6 players format is ok but you'll have two extra players in your way ...n w 9 on the Court... That's too crazy for my ideal.... I jus wouldn't... They jus needs more courts n more teams instead of less teams less courts n more players.. so why 9 ... Asians please tell me why is that.... Injuries are a must I guess... B careful with that format.. will not watch any games like that.... Jus too crazy for me.... 🤪
