I'm not new to gaming but I've had to walk away from gaming for about seven or eight years due to some unforeseen health issues, multiple surgeries, and long stays in the hospital over the last six or seven years!! I have found myself at the very bottom of depression and I have daily fault my way back out of the hole that I've been in for the last 6-7 years depressed off my ass with absolutely no aspiration to do anyting.. I'm wanting to get back into gaming but I think that the technology has gotten better and faster as it should each year! My memory isn't as great as it used to be and I'm wanting to get back into gaming do you have any advice as to what games I can play just to get the muscle memory back? And what games can I play and I have interacting experiences with others as a play because that's the biggest part that I miss. Thanks 🙏✌️

Tbh, I didn't even know we were getting a Payday 3 until today, lol. I used to play the second one a lot back in the early 2010's. One thing I noticed is that this game feels more like a expansion to Payday 2 than a sequel, most of it looks and feels the same as it was 10 years ago.

I get this beta is a version of the game from April 2023 but the FPS was up and down all over the place on a 3070 and 12th gen i5. Otherwise enjoyed but I hate large dips in FPS so hoping full release better optimised

Activision needs to take notes on that release event. Every new cod is just trash now. They used to hype it up so well but now its just like a small group of people make refreshed content and pump it out. Theres no life to the release of the games besides cool trailers. Other than that theres no interactions with fans or anything. They have live action actors for the characters. Just have them perform something like how they did the “bank robbery” for payday3

2:17 this was stolen from two roblox games named "Entry point" and "notoriety". While entry point is a never-before-seen game, notoriety is just a roblox payday 2, however their devs arw about to remake their game completely, for now, however, it looks like payday 2 but made in 2023. In my opinion its not bad for them to take inspiration from payday 2. Anyways, Payday 3 will more likely be a knock-off of notoriety, just will try to make it look different.

But as a video editor and photographer I need a portable and powerful machine, a pc wont work for me and a windows laptop definitely wont either. Ive had 3 windows laptops before this but mac M2 pro blows them out of the water in performance.

First, it’s the easiest difficulty in the game. So the cops don’t do very much in loud gameplay. 2nd, Payday 3 has completely reworked stealth gameplay and there are now “Public” “Private” and “Secured” areas. And civilians don’t give a crap about where you are as long as it’s not a Secured area, and as long as you don’t have your mask on.

Because Payday 2 already had good graphics. I assume it’s being made in the same engine so it’s still going to look really similar but there are obvious changes (for the better) with the textures and lighting.

You obviously haven’t played the game. I’ll ignore the music part cause it might just be not your style, but the graphics are a big improvement compared to Payday 2 (not that PD2’s graphics were bad), and they’ve changed quite a bit when it comes to gameplay including completely revamping stealth gameplay and mechanics. Also I’ve got no idea what you mean by “animations are frame-by-frame copies”. I’ve played almost 300 hours if payday 2 and I haven’t noticed any reused animations.

@@xyrkzes True, I downloaded it but didn't have time/enough interest to play it. That's because I watched a stack of streamers/videos. On multiple occasions (normal difficulty) players had police flank only to stand there like lemons before they open fire, players run out of ammo and reload in front of them and miss with entire clips with minimal consequences. That is dumb, harmless and ultimately pointless. I hope it gets tweaked as other areas of the game looked good. Sure, on the highest difficulty it ramps up but normal was a total lol. I don't need to watch Dev talks to see what 8+ videos have already demonstrated as fact, but thanks all the same.

The stealth will be almost entirely different compared to Payday 2 with things like microcams, holding bodies, takedown, meatshields, etc... Sure it's similar to Payday 2 but that's why I'm here, because of the fun and humor Payday 2 has. And for the icing, Gustavo Coutinho (And possibly Simon Viklund) will be in charge of the music. There are new mechanics like armor chunks, armor bags, and different skill systems. I'm just going to hope Starbreeze won't abandon console anymore like in Pd2 and of course, microtransactions.
