It kinda does make sense that termina is "less packed" Termina is a village, there is just long walks in villages with nothing happening. While Funger 1 was in a dungeon, where things need to be in smaller spaces, jam packed close corridors etc. but i do agree that without dashing this would be way way to tedious to go through over and over again. All around i love F&H2 for the character stories that play out, enemies like needles are just amazing, but something that the dev is seemingly also trying to add, is adding a difficulty thats harder but not just masox mode. The jump between "Normal" and "Maso" is too big basically. Id love a difficulty between thats much harder, but you can still do the normal party stuff, character stories etc.

There's a lot more freedom in termina, and its sorta like another pain simulator, pathologic - Where the walking gives a break from the action at times, and you get a light break to get your thoughts together while you go to your next goal, knowing that your hunger is dropping as you're taking that sweet, long time.

By the way, the horrifying sounds you hear in the old part of Prehevil at 12:46 are actually still in the game, but in a different location! It plays this sound in the orphanage but it's quieter I think

So you can get infinite arms and legs, rusty pipes, shillings and small keys. You usually don't need that's many rusty pipes, but other items are pretty valuable. The problem is there are around twenty neighbors in Mold Apartments in Rher's Dimension, but only one with this bug. You can test this by yourself if you want, I think that this bug must be consistent.

While im a fan of the first game, i love the second game so much more. Termina is a game i could call one of my favorites easily while 1 is definitely a game of all time in my opinion, 2 just feels so much more like a game made to be played and enjoyed and the characters and story i found where way more interesting

Termina is imo a huge improvement of a sequel. It's an upgrade kinda like going from Zelda 1 to Link to the Past for me. There's so much more character and complexity, a ton of little improvements that make it feel like a generational leap, and overall IMO the writing is way better. The things Fear and Hunger 1 had that Termina doesn't mostly make the game better for their absence, like the sexual assault and the torches system. There's no more level randomization, but considering the huge upgrade in detail/fidelity in Termina's world that feels like a fair trade-off.

yes frap playing termina what a great day. fear and hunger is that one game series that i could wait forever for updates and not complain. also your normal fear and hunger intro is fire but the termina one goes so hard i love it, i can understand some locations being quite empty but at the same time i kinda feel like it fits the atmosphere

I am a fan of the intros. I especially like this one. As for my opinion about Termina, I do like it a bit more because all of the interaction with the characters. I do like playing as Marina and trying to find all the places that Samarie watches you from, things like that.

I love Frapollo's intros, I love how its sitcom for the first game and the 2nd game is a banger, even if its long a lot of anime intros are, but I'm glad there is no "skip intro" button, especially when Frapollo responds to the commenter :D

The reason why there is a Crow Mauler is maybe because it was left alive as it also does Rags work of killing dungeon monsters. Would be interesting to see more of Tanaka Pav and Rags (descendant). I like the first game but Termina improves on everything with a new twist to the gameplay. I think the main appeal of the first game is that it's more "raw" in its themes but Termina has been a much smoother and enjoyable experience for me and I got way more immersed in the story. I finished the game 3 times (all 3 endings) and only after that I found out about sulfur from youtube and I think it's really cool because it not only fools the characters in-game, but it also fools the player in the exact same way

If you destroy the gas canister of the pig mask guy and then try to trigger the event with talk to insta-kill him, the coin flip event won't trigger. It honestly makes sense from a logical standpoint.

Started playing Termina again after going back to the 1st one and agree with your stance on "map density". Previl is a confusing ass labyrinth at times it feels. Plus Day 1 being relatively bare compared to Day 2 and 3 makes it feel like it's a grinding day to get gear, or I haven't found everything you could do. Overall Termina is still good, but I still prefer the dungeon over the city

Honestly I like termina better than the first F&H because termina is bigger and theres more to explore, the characters in termina are also alot better in my opinion (more likeable, more dialouge etc) I also like the 1900s aesthetic in termina and the bosses are more fun. I dont really mind the fact thats its not as challenging/difficult as F&H 1
