You may realize that sometimes the 1 immortal or radiant has more money, shields, etc. Or the enemies have light shields, reduced economy, etc. This is why most of our videos are close matches. They are balanced to the teeth. This means rule-sets are set in place to create fair gameplay for everyone involved. Sometimes we do this "dynamically". For example: Maybe a low ranked team would start with pistol only, then get a specter and light shield. After switching sides they maybe can full buy, etc, etc. This gives a sense of suspense to the video as the opposing team would slowly face an increasing challenge!

I think there’s a couple things: one thing often ignored in these tests is that everyone comms bc it’s a video/organized game, where Smurfs make a much bigger impact if there’s little to no comms (which are very common in my games.) another piece to that puzzle is that the mental is stronger for the golds bc of they know it’s a video and something might be up and they are in a vid so they act calmer and less agitated from someone who seems to be smurfing, which also doesn’t happen normally. Those two things make a huge impact below probably plat/diamond, which makes the “Smurf” less relevant than they are in our games.

This is called the Hawthorne effect, where subjects know that they are participating in an experiment. This will effect how they perform - creating a bias in the result.

In these vids, I love how the ranks often times are in parallel with age groups, like how Iron to Bronze sound kids ages 12 and younger, Silver to Plats sounding like young teens and Diamond and above, for the most part, sounding like young adults.

My friend is iron 2 and found a radiant smurf against him and his team, the radiant guy ended up with 59 kills and he obviously won 13 - 0

bullshit. you could've possibly made only 65 kills for 13 rounds, unless there was a sage in the enemy team who would have ult every round, and I assume even if there was it was an iron sage who probably doesn't even know how to revive. + If he is a smurf, before he reached level 20 for the ranked his hidden mmr would've been enormous thus he wouldn't have gotten such easy opponents. You can't possibly make 59 out of 65 kills no matter how good you are and how bad your enemies are, you can't be everywhere, there are different contact points on the map and your team would definitely get some more kills. There is only slight possibility that if he started on the attacker side and the team was just following him and he was making all the entries and chasing down the remaining ones, but I'm not buying it. Come up with a better story dude ...

Ayo video idea. Get an iron team , bronze team , silver team etc etc. Scale games betwin them , like can be bo3 ou just bo1 games. Iron vs bronze, the winner goes on. The objetctive is to see which team is gonna be at the end facing the radiant team and if they are gonna win. If you think a lot about it , u can try to had some plots , maybe faking the radiant team but in reality are golds , idk something to spice the games with out the players knowing !

smurfing is just weird in lower ranks, like golds and plats would frag out in bronze n stuff but wouldnt win cuz like they just go for kills and they greedy\dont stick w the team.
