Now that it has been established, how about a mini paint brush, on a mini painted canvas, on a mini easel in a resin cube of sorts? Another resin diorama. Or a Pop vinyl figure of Bob Ross in resin?

This video reminds me of the story I have watched a half a dozen or more videos about, where McDonalds burgers are called "forever burgers", in large part because a man in Iceland saved his last burger and fries he ordered before they went out of business in Iceland, and that meal got put on display for over a decade, with no sign of decay. The McDonalds people were quite put out about the story. I recently saw a video where a Russian man was protesting, begging for McDonalds in Russia to not close, as they were announcing they would pull out of Russia in a "we don't support Putin" sort of move. Perhaps he will save a meal also, and be the next entry in the saga of "forever burgers".

@@jesusislord6545 Do you have ANY idea just how ANNOYING it is for people to shove their religion down your throat? Its' really EXACTLY what Christ said NOT to do. maybe you should actually read fort CONTEXT this time, assuming you have EVER actually read the book. And let me tell you one more thing: Religion is for YOU to live by, NOT to try and force on everyone else. YOUR religion, YOUR rules. They are for YOU to live by, NOT to demand everyone else live by. The most ARROGANT thing around is for you to decide how everyone ELSE should live. YOU have a religion, YOU live by it. It's NOT your place to try and force it on everyone else. Christ said to live by example, so that others see how you have your act together and ASK YOU about it. But if you go around screaming it at people in public about your religion, you are not a faithful person, you're a CREEP. Not to mention, this has absolutely NOTHING to do with the topic. How about if I bust into YOUR conversation and start talking about something that YOU find offensive? Or I start preaching Muslim doctrine, or Jewish, or Buddhist? I don't doubt that you would be screaming at me about false gods and idols. It's NOT okay just because it's YOUR religion. Keep it to yourself.

Both the execution and the aging of this piece were better than I expected, I never saw the first video. If you make a new stand for it maybe it can be shorter and with a wider base. With the first stand I feel like it's an accident waiting to happen, mainly tipping over.
@JohnRay1969
@JohnRay1969 2 жыл бұрын
I wondered the same thing. I have a lot of experience using cake stands and the looks of that one made me nervous. I would have wanted a wider base. I loved the M&M theme though. That resin is really extraordinary for sealing and preserving what would otherwise have disintegrated.

Such a cool little project. I thought that with the heat of the resin would have melted the chocolate and made a real mess. I was pleasantly surprised. I think you should maybe polish the dull part, make new stand and display it somewhere nice. The piece is too nice to leave in storage just to collect dust. I'd love to see more of old projects you've done and to restore them to former glory. Just a thought though.💜

Hi Ben my friend! I have always wondered if you could restore resin. My husband's uncle (years and years ago) made a bar with wood and resin. He left it to his daughter. It has little gold dabloons (you know Florida, shipwrecks???, the beach) in the resin. It's all old and yellow. You can tell it was once beautiful and I've always wanted to fix it up.

I had a pen holder as a kid which was made of a small pile of no name candy like M&Ms, except larger. As I had it over the years, it stayed clear (no sun exposure) but eventually some of the shells started to crack. But otherwise, it stayed in perfect condition for probably over 10 years before I got bored and tossed it (it only held those longer, slim, elliptical pens and as a kid, those are hard to acquire!). Keep that in good condition and it should last a very long time!

I'm loving that new shirt you're styling and profiling in there! Also, that table was a really fun idea! You inspired me to create my own Dragon Eggs, as well as some other medieval fantasy things. You know, I wonder something: Lets say for example, if you were to make a table-top (rectangular like a fish tank), medieval fantasy land such as Hyrule from the Legend of Zelda series - I wonder if a broccoli forest would look in resin, but also survive the resin too? And for a river I'm sure some rocks in a trench using a few blue colors and something for the foam in the realistic water with sand on the sides would look really nice, too. What would you think of using broccoli, or other sorts of plants for the flora? Just a thought for a project and who better to ask than a resin master such as yourself! I wonder if a Hylian shield could be done, too? Should not be too difficult I'd imagine, and would look really cool with the Master Sword over a mantle of a fireplace, right?

I’ve tried a couple different flowers and some smaller berries with terrible results 😅 Unfortunately anything fresh will deteriorate in the resins. You could model scupley clay for the broccoli (but it can’t be clay that has sulphur bc it reacts with resins). I think Super Sculpey is the good one but do a little research.. and a small test sample . I’ve seen a couple model makers use bits of toilet paper, twisted or gathered in the water to make waves and ripples with good results. Either mix toilet tissue with Gel Medium or resin and add as desired and then poured or painted on another layer of resin to seal it. Idk about shields or figures bc I haven’t seen the movie you’re speaking of. I have seen some pretty amazing things made with the Sculpey clay and painted. If you’re decent at airbrushing you’d be ahead of the game. Happy Arting 😊

Heres a long term series idea: Minecraft Blocks made from Real Materials and Epoxy. Maybe made in a mold about the size of your hand. Though realistic sized would look cool but expensive if messed up.

Another great video. I enjoy all of your worx 👍 I was thinking it would be really cool to see an LED panel used within one of your resin art pieces that lights up several LEDs. The LEDs could be connected to a potentiometer to allow them to be dimmed as well. Let me know what you think

Hi Mate, if I was to do it again I would add a lot more M&M's, with 1 base pour then 1 cover pour 👍 I'd probably even find a way of getting it into the pressure pot
