Congratulations to you girl welcome to the other side 👍 I quit my my job as a registered nurse last two years ago after almost 9 years in the field. It was not an easy decision, but life is too short to dread going to work everyday. No amount of money can buy real happiness Lol 😁but friends I'm not asking you to resign from your job or abandon your business but be wise!!

As a fellow RN, I completely agree with being versatile! I’ve done ED, med-surg, IR, cath lab, same day surgery and endoscopy- today i’m a nurse administrator looking to obtain the nurse executive certification. Best wishes to you! The sky’s the limit for you and I look forward to your updates❤️

Thank you! & wow! You have so much experience. It really helps in the long run when your body starts to feel like you need a break. This is awesome. What does the process look like for the nurse exec certification?
@LF_RN

@@veryvanessa Thank you Vanessa! The nurse exec exam will test your knowledge in healthcare operations that include, HR, finance, Patient safety and regulatory to name a few. With this credential, you can seek roles in healthcare administration at director level and above. Personally, I will be seeking executive (AVP, VP) level roles in healthcare operations. I just watched your post-surgery update. I’m glad you’re recovering well and so happy for your great news! 💜💜💜

Let me just start and say your skin is just glowing and you are so pretty! I’m new to your channel but as fellow KZfaqrs and nurses, I whole heartedly applaude your bravery for quitting your urgent care job. I just quit bedside nursing and did a video on it as well. I now do Aesthetic Nursing at a medical spa full time and I run the business. I absolutely love it! 🤎 A lot of people warned me that the hospital was more of a secure job but I was depressed and felt I wasn’t making an impact on people’s lives. Plus COVID didn’t make things better. New subscriber to your channel, can’t wait to see your next video! ☺️

Thank you for shedding light on this area of nursing, Vanessa. I'm an LPN of 19 years and I have been in case management, UR, authorizations nurse positions. Last year, I left my job to work on a forensics team which entails doing psych case management for the courts / probation probation dept. I enjoy this line of work that requires more use of my brain and a little less of my achy body in my older age. I will apply to the RN program this fall and have all the credits needed to transfer. It's game on once I get my BSN!

@@veryvanessa Hi I do have a couple questions. Do you have a patient caseload? Are you on the phone with patients throughout the day? Is your work schedule flexible 5 8 hour days or 4 10 hour days? I follow a couple remote nurses on Instagram who post weekly remote jobs. I’m hoping to transition to a case manager or utilization review nurse. I know it’s a lot of questions, a video would be great. Thank you for your time.
