Tourque Management. It shifts way to early in the rpm range. My Challenger SRT8 will shift to early once in a while.

@@MarcoGonzalez-bi6cg it's tourque Management. It's to protect the transmission. These cars have an adaptive learning program. The pcm learns how you drive after a while. Shift points etc.... So you have to disconnect the battery cable to reprogram the pcm or if you have a handheld tuner you can reboot the pcm.

@@doithigh9213 no it won't reset the shift points from the tune just the adaptive learning system will get reset. I like to reset my car about once a week I'm also tuned with higher shift points. Disconnect the battery for 3-5 minutes that'll reset the adaptive learning.

@@Shiftnlift Hard to argue because Ford got smart and it will be offered with either a DCT or 10 speed auto. Manual drivers are all suspect. Still will never get near the ZL1 1LE on a road course. That car is a killer on a track.

I think he means he's trying to get it to hold a gear and it's upshifting too soon. Not actually hitting neutral. Not that it matter with this power difference. The coyote is still leagues better than the 4.6 and the new GT500 will be a beast if u can get it under 6 figures.

Both cars are very nice. Both are winners. Lots of options if you need more hp. Thanks for the video and I'm very sorry about the loss of your friend. BTW, last week I drove a 2019 GT and a 2019 ZL1...both great cars. But I have to say the Mustang is the best sounding of the 2.

Sorry 4 your loss young man...You are doing a good job with your Mustang content. That ZL1 is the best bang for buck sports car at 650 horse power in the world..its fast, looks more menacing than Ford and Dodge.

Did you expect different? That car runs 11 flat 126-130 mph range I know cause my stock 2017 went 10.80s@131 best. Going for 10 flat to 9.90s this weekend on a few bolt ons. Been 10.68 lifting and on a 95 degree fl day with 2800 da. Will have 60s this weekend and expect.5 better at a minimum.
