mr1upz has a crack at ranking Pokemon Gym Leaders. Sorted out a wee Gym Leader Tier List. On my quest to eventually have every Pokemon Trainer Ranked here we are, all gym leaders in Pokemon in one big scuffed sesh. Some of the strongest Pokemon Trainers around may very well live in your home town right next to the shops. Just because you only have one badge what may be one of the strongest gym leaders in Pokemon might be holding back the best Pokemon team around. Or maybe what you see is what you get and some trainers really are the weakest gym leaders around and peak at a level 7 Pidgey. But which of the badge holders will reign supreme?

Sabrina's got someone in her pocket at Gamefreak. My girl has appeared in 6 out of 8 generations and had actual relevance in Gen 5 unlike the others. She's had almost a double digit amount of designs over the years and her team is always up to throw down. She's just playing the long game.

Volkner not having lost in a long while before you beat him in Gen 4 and the remakes is a lot funnier when you imagine him just viscously bodying new trainers. Like somebody rolls up with their starter feeling real confident and Volkner sends out the Francis Ngannou of level 7 Shinx to teach them a lesson about the real world.

@@---oq5kb I'm sure he gets around to seeing blue too n the oaks n his mom n later silver But blues a busy man too he runs the 8th gym a high title n trains a ton himself and has a trainers hall in viridian to keep an eye on too I'm sure red visits misty because why wouldn't he see his girlfriend But I do know Sabrina goes visit red at Mt silver herself and battles with him on a regular basis Sabrina is there for training and she's very strong and I'm sure misty n red have the occasional battle once in a while

I just found this channel a couple of days ago and it’s already one of my rising favorite channels. It’s not even the type of videos he does that makes him great, but it’s his fast-paced and on-point comedic commentary that takes it to the next level. Genuinely one of the funniest channels that talk about Pokémon I’ve seen.

Turning Giovanni into the Pokemon equivalent of Vito Corleone was a great comedic idea. He presents himself as a business man but the ruthless mafia don will show himself if you fuck with him. Back that up with treating Cynthia like she's practically a goddess - she talks to gods in her spare time, makes Leon look like a jabrony by being stronger without using any gimmicks, and is sexy as hell so he's not too far off - and this guy's all set.

Misty's HGSS rematch team was insanely good. I thought maybe it was the best gym leader team. You know Game Freak went all out when they didn't give her a Politoed ( who didn't have drizzle yet ) like the Anime or not even Golduck, but a Milotic. Then BDSP came out. Crasher Wake now easily sits at the throne of the Gym Leaders' Kingdom. Man now has the best wrestler and the best gym leader title at the same time.

@@nautgamingnautgaming9949 Fun fact her Ace is a Starmie, a Pokémon that can learn Thunderbolt, Ice Beam and Surf, a combination of which is enough to solo Lance's team. Plus Starmie is faster than every Pokémon in Lance's team bar Aerodactyl. I don't see why Misty does not become the new Champion of Johto, especially when Dragonite did not have Multiscale before generation 5.

My favorite gym leaders are honestly Wulfric/Wallace. They perfectly break every final gym leader's stereotype of being either really hardcore, or just a lazy loafer. They're just friendly people and want you to have fun with them. Runner-up is Wattson.(idk why, I just think his lore is unique.)

@@mrmc101 I wouldn't say it's completely wasted. Ionos is goated, using a electric tera type mismagius with levitate. Brassius is also pretty decent with sudowoodo (grass has a shit ton of weaknesses, but at least sudowoodo can counter some of them). The others? Eh...
