I’m not sure if this idea has been said before but once Charlie and Matt inevitably try everything from every fast food restaurant they should do an ultimate tier list where they rank every S-Class item and determine the ultimate fast food meal once and for all.

The fact that Matt always says the ratatouille thing wrong by calling the strawberry a grape always cracks me up

As an Arby's employee, I'm sad y'all didn't try the gyro. That sauce is my absolute favorite. The brisket is alright, too meaty for my taste but you can't go wrong with those crispy onions.

I’ve always hated Arby’s but on a road trip a buddy of mine told me to trust him and order what he ordered, he got the chicken bacon Swiss. I liked it so much I forgave all the past trauma of Arby’s mistakes for that one menu item, (and the mozzarella sticks are good)

Giving matt his own individual tier list is a way better approach. Matt's got a fine palate. Just adds to charles very insightful all-knowing of every food ever made.

The "Bronco Berry" sauce is kinda weird, but it's not really supposed to go with the fries. They serve it with the jalapeno poppers.

Personally, I like that Matt has his own tier list now. He always does the tier lists with Charlie so it just makes sense.

As an Arby’s employee, I think I know why the chicken was raw, either they set the wrong timer or the did not use the right fryer basket. For chicken patties, special baskets are used to keep them away from each other so the oil can truly surround each patty. If they’re thrown in a regular basket, the heat can’t surround them as well and you run the risk of undercooking it. Especially if there’s a bunch of them in the same basket.

What an emotional rollercoaster. I've been craving myself some french dip since the last Arby's within reasonable distance left me. I was highly anticipating their experience with it until it looked like they were about to finish without it. Right when my disappointment was about to take over, the reveal of that the french dip was going to be the last item going though the trial totally brightened up my mood. I should have known the cruel lady fait would come in and snatch away the essense of the meal at this moment. Have mercy on my weak heart.

You're usually supposed to get a packet of Arby's Sauce, Horsey sauce, or 3 pepper sauce to go with the classic roast beef. It's kind of designed around that, but the fatal flaw is that no one tells you that.

Finally matt got his own tierlist. I always feel like matt gives his opinion but then kinda gets swayed into the same thing as Charlie and vice versa. Glad to see you both have your own list now!

As an avid Arby’s Advocate, it was sad to see the beef and cheddar and classic beef tried without the intended sauce, it is quite possibly the most important thing at Arby’s, you must ask for the Red Ranch from the back, it changes the sandwich by multitudes in a positive direction

As a trucker for the last 13 years, Arby's is the ONLY fast food I haven't got sick of. I've never had a bad experience in all these years, super consistent across the states. It tastes the same in WA as it does in NY.

Former Arby's shift manager here, often times the chicken breasts and strips would come with abnormally thick sections, or would just be too large, and wouldn't properly cook within the 5 minute cook time. Generally, my store was in the practice of discarding these, but I can easily see somebody not giving a darn and serving it undercooked. TLDR: it is a mix of incompetence and a lack of QC on the corporate side

I could absolutely watch a channel that is nothing but videos of Charlie and Matt doing food tier lists. There's just something really enjoyable about it. Matt is just more likeable than I ever expected before I started watching these videos, and I just love how animated Charlie's face is when he tastes something that he doesn't enjoy. Most people just go "bleh, that's gross", but Charlie looks like he is in physical pain when he tries something not great, and I am 100% here for it.

The soft, subtle way Matt says: "good marinara too" (1:16) is weirdly calming. Almost as if Bob Ross was talking.

Ive wanted a separate tier list for Matt since I started watching these, so I'm happy.

I was a manager at Arby's for a few years, we actually used all real meats. fresh turkey and chicken sliced from a whole piece in house, fresh brisket and roast beef in house. only frozen thing is chicken patties and tenders, Mozz sticks, and fries. but even the frozen chicken patties aren't fully cooked in bag. they didn't cook the chicken for Charlie the whole 5 minutes before, that's why his chicken was raw.

I've been eating the chicken bacon swiss for like 20 years. It's the only thing i ever get at Arby's. It's the most criminally underrated fast food sandwich, I am so happy it's getting the props it deserves here.

Im so glad Matt has his own tier list. Even it isnt always too far off Charlies Charlie just has such absolutely terrible food takes its nice to have a civilized person rating them next to him.

The sweet sauce comes with the jalapeno poppers. For the roast beef sandwiches, they have Arby's sauce and Horsey sauce, which are like barbecueish and horseradish. A plain sandwich is going to be bland, so it is hard to judge without adding some sauce.

I’m genuinely surprised no one’s said it yet… But you’re supposed to use Arby’s sauce or the french dip with the roast beef sandwiches. Of course it’s bland without either of those, but with them it makes the sandwiches make sense.

When you are looking for a sandwich without a blathering of mayo, sauces and vegetables running out of it, the Biggest Arby's roast beef sandwich is awesome. You can add any sauce you want to it to make it better. I usually just put more pepper and salt on it and eat it like that. It always sits well in the stomach and gives me a lot of energy. Several times i have been tempted to get two. The French dip has to have the au jus with it. I wish Arby's used a genuine au jus, instead of a beef bouillon cube in hot water. I will definitely have to try that chicken, bacon and swiss sandwich. And as others here in the comments section have said. You have deprived yourself of the joy of the Arby's horsey sauce. A real kick to any sandwich needing it (perfect for that roast beef) and an awesome sauce.

I know that people are mostly here for Charlie's insight about stuff but I love that Matt is also not just seen as a guy that's just there since he is actually reviewing the food himself as well. I'm disappointed you didn't get to try the gyro, it's quite good. The french dip on its own is very plain and absolutely needs the dip. But they frequently forget to put it in the bag

I worked at Arby's for 4 years and it's good to see them praising their chicken because I always thought it was underrated. I'd like to see them revisit this tier list with actual Arby's Horsey and Aujus for the French dip. The roast beef sandwiches are designed to be plain so it leaves room for the customer to customize their sandwich however they want. I also want to see Charlie try and eat a Meat Mountain. Also next time you're there ask for Spicy Three Pepper Sauce it's their best one it's not even spicy it's more like a tangy bbq Charlie might like it.

It had been a while since I had Arby's (and I didn't have the best memories of it), but I ordered some on Uber Eats the other day, and it was some of the best fast food I've ever had. I ordered a few different sandwiches, and the beef in all of them was super tender and moist (I don't remember that being the case before). I think it really just depends on the individual place and how much the workers care.

As an Arbys lover, I'm incredibly disappointed they didn't give you any horsey sauce. It makes damn near everything on the menu better. Also, the beef and cheddar is just the superior version of the classic roast beef and how can you eat a french dip without au jus? Arby's has so many sauces that you literally won't find at any other fast food joint, and they're designed to compliment the beef sandwiches that are their claim to fame. Reviewing a roast beef without any Arby's or Horsey sauce is sort of selling it short. Also, French dip requires Au Jous to thrive. That said, glad you guys enjoyed it. People always clown on them like "who are the 5 people keeping Arby's in business" when honestly they just have good-ass food. Plus their menu cuts a pretty unique niche in the burger and tex-mex dominated fast food world.

So, just in case you were curious, the Bronco Berry sauce is intended for the Jalapeno Poppers. It's actually not bad paired with it.

FINALLY someone recognizes the greatness of the chicken bacon swiss. So many people sleep on this sandwich and I feel so validated.

I'm just going to come out and say it... They needed the dip for the french dip and they needed Arby's sauce for the classic/with cheese. While i fully agree that the beef by itself is nothing to write home about, it is a platform for other flavors. Personally, I feel like the classic with cheese would benefit from the Taco Bell cheese sauce. I am also incredibly disappointed that many locations no longer offer the "Meat Mountain" hack. I would have loved to see their reaction to that beast. I've always felt that Arby's had something close to banger while never fully crossing the finish line. Good to see them split the rankings to minimize influence/bias.

I've seen a few mentions of it already but you really need the sauce for the roast beef and the dip for the french dip. I'm not a huge arbys fan but ill hit it every few years on a road trip and a plain roast beef with arbys sauce is pretty nice.

As a former Arby's employee you have made me sad. The turkey and Greek gyro are things of wonder and the meat mountain; their secret magnum opus will leave you creaming in your seat from the pure amount of girth and flavour presented to your taste sacs. This is an incomplete review and therefore I will not accept it as the end, yet merely a humble beginning to an astounding trilogy that must be made.

Having the classic roast beef with spicy three pepper sauce hits hard. They never give you the sauce without asking tho. They will always have OG or horsey in the bag but never three pepper.

Glad Arby's is finally getting respect. I think a lot people are like me. I hated it as a kid, because my mom would only order me the roast beef sandwiches, but ever since highschool, when I discovered the entire rest of the menu, I've loved it.
