Great job on the seat. And that is a fantastic bike. I had one just like it quite a few years ago. Those Honda V4 engines sound absolutely fantastic. They have a nice flat torque curve also. At low RPM they have a nice rumble like a v-twin but at higher RPM they sell more like an inline 4. Super nice combination. If I remember correctly you want to make sure that the camshafts are being oiled properly I know on larger displacement v4s this was more of a significant issue. I think on the 500 it wasn't so much of a problem but there are some great forums out there that may have more details. I just don't remember anymore.

Looks like you're revamping an adults version of a hot wheels chassis with that seat.

Nice restoration! Check out the Reliability Rally.. its all about fixing up old bikes like this, just maybe a little more worn out, ha.
