If those are hi-8/svhs recordings, they are the worst in quality I've seen. I don't understand why. The camera seems to be in good condition, but the videos look excessively pixelated, you see "saw teeth" where there shouldn't be any.

Short answer is “yes”

Video is rendered in 4k. You need to render the same video as 1080 and 4k and play them separately. You'll see a big difference. Also there is a difference in filming as 4k and rendering down to 1080 and vice versa. Also, can your device even view 4k? I just don't know this video is super helpful.

Your year model doesnt really matter with FSD or autopilot. Thats all software that can be updated. My car didnt come with FSD. But i got a month of it free when i bought it due to transfer of ownership and the trial period. In a couple months itll be deactivated unless i decide to buy it. And i got a 2016 model X. Bought in 2024.

Kind of late to the game here 🙂. For an early electronic game it really had some nice details. For instance, the delay between the pitch button depress and when the ball is actually thrown will vary. This made it harder to predict the pitch. Also, after the ball is hit you will hear some short rapid beeps indicating how many bases your runner should be able to make. However, this is not always a given. Depending on the runner's speed you may not have enough time to make it. This is another great detail. I've noticed the speed that the runners run will vary. I still love playing this game. The nostalgia is an added bonus!

More modern Teslas will tell you what the error means on the screen. You tap on it in the alerts menu and it loads up the documentation. Also, you actually can call up Tesla and ask any questions you want. I've done this at least twice when ordering and questions on taking my Model 3 for service on a defect with some interior trim.

With newer cars all of his "battery failure" concerns could easily happen with an ICE vehicle. Catastrophic failures in an ICE vehicle can happen without warning. It may be that he's more familiar with the ones that let you limp as there are more things to fail in an ICE vehicle. And repair costs could be high as well especially of the main power plant was abused by the previous owner. In that case I doubt the repair would have been covered by his ICE vehicle warranty. Having the thermal fuse switch over to a much small limp-away battery might not be a bad idea though.

I have a buddy, who bought a 2013 Model S P85 last year (2023). It had 150,000 miles on it. He did replace something with the air ride suspension. It now has over 180,000 miles and is still going strong.

I just picked up one of these for $7 on Amazon. Brand new in original boxing...such a throwback! One thing I did notice is that for my 30GB Zune, it didn't want to connect with the 30/80GB plate adapter. Ultimately I just took the adapter off and it fits in perfect. Wished it would have fit but hey, I'm glad to have a dedicated dock for my Zune out in the open on my desk so not only is it out of the shadows, but it's fully charged.

Great video. I didn't realise my Voyage was 10 years old until I came across the receipt from 2014. The screen size is perfect, as is the weight and the quality of the display. I would be mortified if I had to replace it 😥. It's nice to know there are others who feel the same 👍
