Simply put, Marlena is the muse but she is not a woman, she is referring to music. In the text "marlena returns home" she speaks of her difficulty in composing texts because she has lost inspirations. However Marlena is back and also with arrogance. On the cover of the latest album "RUSH" you can see Marlena leaving, leaving them to their future. Nothing to say about the English language, but when Damiano sings in Italian it's magical. The concept of Marlena is inspired. She is their Muse/inspiration and is mentioned in 4 of the songs on Teatro d'ira. L'altra Dimensione, Morirò da Re, Le Parole Lontane and Torna a Casa. Those 4 songs tell the story of falling in love with Music, feeling it will make you a King, fear of losing the inspiration and disappearing if you do.
