Ya know I never really got the “modern comics are dead” argument. Especially with some of the reasons they present like “woke trash” instead of bad writing or “manga is better and winning”. They’re like the same. Mixed bags. Some recent gold here and there like this and trash here and there and a lot of meh. Like manga. Like anything. Just that one is more popular cuz superhero comics keep rebooting themselves

Hey Dookieman, it appears the extreme comments made around the internet are usually made by the loud minority. The truth is, like you said yourself, there are great comic books and manga in the past, now and will be in the future, just as there has been poorly written comics and manga in the past, now and will be in the future. Nostalgia is a powerful drug, and it definetly blurs our vision sometimes. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
