I read Man with the Golden Gun way back in high school, and the sense I got was that movie Bond wasn't really bothered by the whole "murder the shit out of a bunch of people" aspect of the job, where book Bond found it a bit more of a struggle.

The Cement Mixers 😂😂I like how in the movie they are like in the water supply?? That's stupid, airborne it is!! Also why did I image shopping carts then a dingy for getting the gold into the sub 🤣Felix is the true main character. Most accurate part of the book, the water landing destroys most the plane.

First I love the covers of these editions of the Bond books. I don't have them all sadly. That said I tried reading Goldfinger and gave up in the middle of the golf game. Maybe one day I'll take another sho at it.
