The film adaptation was the thing that made me like James Bond movies - pre-Casino Royale, this was the first time we saw James Bond get hurt, and that allowed me to relate to the character in a way that no other Bond movie allowed me to.

Wasn’t that complicated to me. You’re either too slow or you read it once. Plus the movie did a pretty shit job of of explaining why Tracy wanted to kill herself and why her father wanted bond to spend some time with her because it was flashing forward and back at times
