Ok lets not diminish bellas feelings in new moon. Yes, she was depressed over a boy she barely knew. She was also probably suffering from PTSD after the whole ordeal of almost dying, knowing there were other vampires out there that wanted her dead and the ONLY people who knew and could protect her, abandoned her without a word. Id curl up and become a shell of myself too. Stephanie Myer just isn't a good enough writer to treat the PTSD aspect with the care and respect it deserves, so she basically ignores that her main character should be traumatized. But in my heart bella is more complex and going through more than a breakup.

You know...now that I'm thinking about it, I don't remember why Jacob got the blame for Alice thinking that Bella had died. That's what I thought - like even when the Cullens wouldn't have known, my first thought wasn't that Jacob was malicously implying that Bella may have died, but that Charlie was helping preparing the funeral for his best friend and fishing buddy. Edward could have literally asked ''Which funeral'' too. instead of jumping to conclusions

Because he recognized their voice. Vampires are said to have very distinctive pretty voices. He answered the call (by taking the phone out of Bella's hands before she could say anything), heard a vampire's voice, got pissed off, and was super vague, and hung up before explaining anything else. I'm not sure if he did it intending to make Edwards think Bella was dead, but he was being super rude and jealous.

I learned from this twilight read view Stephanie Meyer has no concept of the actual size of the Olympic peninsula. If you start at the end of the 101 highway and drive around the thing all around and down to Astoria it's like 455 miles... And that's not the whole coast line... To just "go to" La push and port Angeles for a walk and a shop is like living in Vancouver and saying you're just "popping up to prince George for milk" if you're not the flash... Or Edward Cullen

You know, Stephanie Meyer could have made the imprinting between Jacob and Renesme so much less creepy if she made it so imprinting doesnt begin until legal age because of hormones or something like that. So instead of Jacob having in the back of his mind that the child he is looking at he is going to mate with then she is of legal age, he could get those feelings when she is of legal age. And also, she didnt have to do that to forge a bond between the vampires and werewolves because both sides already has certain ties with Bella. Bella could have been the glue that bonds both sides together and they could have joined forces for the greater good of an innocent child than Jacob imprinting on a literal baby.

6:57 it makes sense bella is wearing an ugly hat because she's from phoenix arizona and she wouldn't have a lot of clothes for warm weather and that's probably somebody's old hat or something and 14:21 carlisle is busy giving her stitches i think so he can't suck the venom out but i agree they should have just let her turn into a vampire then but edward doesn't want her to lose her soul, but it wouldn't break the treaty with the werewolves but then of course we wouldn't get renesmee 35:00 "guess who has a hot body... temperature" lmao and edward is 17 not 19 so the garter toss is extra weird 48:44 TURN TO PAGE 394! werewolves can't chose to turn into wolves, they turn automatically at the full moon and once a twilight werewolf can control it they can choose when to shift lol

one thing ms. stephanie got very right is the amount of people in Forks (and western WA in general) who want to ~quit existing~. The lack of sunlight that fuels the big SAD is truly the gift that keeps on giving, lmfao

Wait a second. WAIT A SECOND. Only seen movies: yall remember when jacob said he only like Bella bc a small part of renesme was like in Bella (ig in soul or egg?!? Weird) but also wouldn’t that mean that the same egg that he was drawn too could’ve been his if Bella chose to be w/ jacob. This w/ the whole “oh i cant choose who i imprint” IMAGINE IF JACOB & BELLA HAD A KID THEN JACOB IMPRINTED ON HIS OWN KID💀😭🤮🤮🤮 WHAT IN TARNATION?!??

The best part about this whole series is listening to other people try to explain it. It’s such a stupid book series and I am here for it!! 😂
