As someone who has literally used KZfaqrs videos/vlogs to talk myself out of suicide as a teen, I will second that its absolutely in no way a justification to treat the person who saved you like crap. I acknowledge their brains are often in a bad place & that causes them to reach out for attention and affirmation in unhealthy ways, but that's not an excuse. Thats a justification for people to distance themselves. It really sucks, but the only people who are obligated to put up with someone in that state is family. Even then, they only gotta put up with it if the person is trying to get better. My mental state has literally declined from trying to help friends in that state before. It's just not healthy to keep them around and allow them to be shitty
