So, at some point, it will be vital for me to start looking for new gloves to replace the ones I have been wearing for 6 years now. GoreTex seems like the obvious choice for a good all-rounder but I don't know if I should stick with what I know or head out to some other brands. Here is my first look at the @Klim Adventure GTX gloves.

Chad, I wore a pair of those Klim gloves on my TAT trip last summer loved them but I had the same issues. I couldn’t get my hand into them. Once in they were the very comfortable and rugged. They didn’t last the trip though. The repetitive struggle on and off took a toll on the sticking around the wrist. I wore them in heavy cold rain in colorado and my hands stayed dry. I wore them in 111 deg temps out west when that heat wave hit last summer. They weren’t to hot. The thumb ridge wears itself down quickly. I purchased a second pair recently. I wish Klim would fix the wrist entry area. Maybe make it stretchy with a wrist strap to tighten.

I didn’t end up keeping the gloves because the fit was no good. I am still using my Held gloves and it’s been great.

Hi, what size of these Revit dominators you wear? Is it the same as Klim?

RevIt gloves are XL and Klim gloves are XXL.

I was just thinking of doing one because it has been a little over a year now. Great minds think alike right?

@@BeGoneForGood I already owned the leatt 5.5 from my dirt days and recently go into street riding. I wasn’t happy with how the pads feel in these street jackets. They float and shift around and who knows if they’re going to be in place if you go down. But the major problem with the moto armor is abrasion resistance. You’ll obviously have to substitute with something over the top. I’ve been wearing my alpinestars textile, with pads removed, over the top of my leatt. Considering getting a Kevlar shirt, which will probably be more breathable during summer, to go over the top. Also looking forward to hearing about how much a PIA it is dealing with putting on/taking off the armor on longer adv trips.

Thanks Bill. Still plugging away but there is so much going on with “real life” it’s been tough doing too much new stuff. Hopefully with the upcoming trip, there will be some new stuff coming soon. I really appreciate the support and look forward to what we’ve got coming down the pipe.
