A salvage super car like an Audi R8 sounds like a great way to save thousands of dollars right? This is as long as everything goes smoothly with the rebuild! I sourced all my parts for this Audi R8 rebuild from eBay motors. We have rebuilt my Audi R8, but now its time to be tested. We cant be sure this Audi R8 is truly ready for the road until we have put it through its paces.
First up, we take my Audi R8 to our friends at A Plus Auto Styling to get it looking right for the road ahead! Next up we travel with my Audi R8 up to Pocono raceway for some 1/3 mile roll race testing with Racemotive. Then it's onto the open road for my Audi R8 for an endurance road trip down to Petit Le Mans in Atlanta GA. Just to north is a famous twisty road, the tail of the dragon, which will provide the ultimate test for any vehicle. If my Audi R8 can pass all these tests, surely its ready to be called complete. Right?

Would look sick if you wrapped the entire thing in that green, i hate how so many of the manufacturers build the majority of their cars in boring non-chromatic (black, white, gray, silver... Etc.) colors, i miss all of the crazy color combinations from the 60s and 70s, cant wait to get my reproduction GTO judge back from the paint shop wearing its hugger orange and original graphics, anyway nice build man 👍

You need to have nick retune the car. You should be able to hear that supercharger whining at least a little bit. I mean maybe the camera just isn't picking it up but I can't hear anything from it

It makes noise at all. I have seen Iroz post about e85 tunes on the blower cars. Might be something I look into if it can pick up a little bit of power.

I recently found this channel and I enjoy watching. I have a 2008 Honda Civic that I'm wanting to put a K20 in. My question to you is how difficult a project this is for a first timer and would you suggest something different being that the Civic is also my daily.

If it is a daily driver, I would suggest tackling some more basic modifications to learn with. Intake, Exhaust, Wheels, Coilovers are all good modifications that teach you a lot doing the installations!

@scraplifegarage The restaurant at NJMP was always decent. Summit Point was ok. Well, if they had the grill going, it was. I think in this region VIR had the best track food. I hate Pocono in general so my opinion might be biased 🤣

Did I hear you say 46°was cold. And you call yourself a Marylander and from the Eastern Shore no doubt. @thatsmyrc agree. It's gotten impossible to make money on there and a good 1/4 of things I sell I end up having to give the customer their money back and I'm out the item and shipping. Been a seller since 2002.
