Man, I’m so happy I didn’t spend money in blood alone and will be able to afford this. The weapon market system is so useful for little countries that have too much excess of civics but not enough weapons factories

@@Gooning312 Can't play multiplayer then and some mods don't work cracked. Also I'm already planning to crack vic3, Crusader kings 3 and Eu4 for all their dlc and base game since I'm not big on modding them (Since I need to get a feel for the base game crack it). Might as well buy one paradox dlc to not be a total leach because I'm gonna be funding it 100% legit.

a litle tip here for in case you are starting with any unindustrialized nation has naval routes with europe. the best nation by far to buy equipment from at the early game is the netherlands, the reason being is that they never have enough manpower to field divisions, and at the same time they have a hard time increasing conscription laws. this ends up with them selling 1936 equipment in 1936 rather than 1918 in 1937-38, meaning you can have a very modern army compare to most other minors.

The Greek historian Xenophon in his Anabasis book talks about the Kurds “Kardouchoi” in 401 BCE[1]. They had formed their own societal system. - It means Kurdish are on this area thousands years before Turkish

Links between Kurds an Kardouchi are nothing more than a theory currently. They might be proto-Kurds or they might not. We don't know for certain. Besides, most of the areas under Kardouchi are around Van which is historically an Armenian region not Kurdish.

I used to do it all the time pre bba, but something broke and I couldn’t do it once that dlc dropped. The new arms market though makes it much easier now. You just gotta get that timing on the war with Turkey just right otherwise you’ll be fighting the Allies and axis.

I did this to get the achievement. If you disable the BFB DLC the game will let you release Kurdistan as Turkey. You can take down both Iraq and Iran by yourself. You can cheese Syria by joining the axis and justifying on Vichy.

Unbelievably based. When I was going for the Kurdistan achievement I did it as Kurdistan (although released by Iran i was new to the game and kept failing as the France one) and I couldn’t find anybody who made a video trying to do it so this is amazing to finally see one. 👑 take this crown good sir.

The main difference i would do. Is go fasicist to begin with, then take the nationalism focus and immediatly swap communist. This way you get the 7% recruitable pop, which will be way more valuable than 27k yearly manpower the marx effect gives you, once you take northern iraq. It also gives you the ability to switch to a better doctrine like superior firepower. I would also get the military factories. The small amount of small arms you can buy, usally isnt worth wasting the civies on. Get the mils to produce small arms, and the civilians to get artillery and support equipment. Since Iraq will always spam out units to hold their front, there really isnt any hurry to build up. the 10% offense and defense on cores, really shouldnt be a dealbreaker, and it doesnt apply to most of iraq.

So I'm gonna assume you know this, but in case you don't, you can also get the achievement by just conquering all the land as a different country and releasing yourself as Kurdistan once you own all the cores. That's what I did in my Greece into BYZ run... which took me until 1964, because I had to beat the Allies, a democratic Germany in a faction with non-aligned Japan, Italy and the US in a faction, France, Spain, Portugal, the Soviets, Iraq, and then also Australia because they formed a faction with Iraq. I quite literally spent over 20 years in-game conquering half of the world as Greece into Byzantium just so I could get an achievement. Turning historical off definitely made the first 7 years of the game much easier... but did not help for the next 21 years after that. I was tempted to go for a WC for the New World Order achievement after all that, because I'd literally beaten every major nation, but I couldn’t be bothered to wait for another 6 years while I justified wargoal after wargoal, so i just spat myself out as Kurdistan and called it quits.

A ton of people usually do that strat as the UK or as Germany. Definitely nothing wrong with that, but playing as a tiny nation and trying to retake all your cores is a very different and fun way to play hoi4. I highly recommend you try a couple times!

I did this recently with a similar strat, the manpower from ideological loyalty for communism is just too good not to grab. What I did differently though is that I released Lebanon, then Syria and played as, and then released Kurdistan. That way, Syria grabs all of their industry focuses and you can then rush them down for some early industry.

Paradox split Syria into only a few states, the area that Kurds actually inhabit in Syria is very small and has barely any population

@@RisingFlag100 Actually, upon looking at some French maps made in 1935 (lmk if you want the image link), it seems they are about the same in Syria, and even fewer were in Turkey. However, this is cartography in the 1930s, so we can't know for sure

For fighting Iraq and turkey, I went with 15wdths, 6 infantry one arty with support arty and engineers. For Iran, I went with 12 wdth infantry spam, though I didn’t have a lot of manpower to use to spam.

It was painful pre arms against tyranny. Now with the guns market, it’s fairly easy. Just a bit of micro in the beginning and a bit of holding in the end. All in all, pretty fun play through.

what is the association between hoi4 youtubers and just using super family friendly language, like brown party, unalive, mr schmitler, etc. is it just for monetization? do you get more sponsors? the algorithm favors it more? bc it cant be on kids yt bc its a war game about nazis and hitler, just a theme ive noticed.
