Checking crops, planter maintenance, and a new opportunity! A neighbor stopped by and had some land coming out of CRP that he wanted to know if we wanted to rent it. First time we've ever rented land. Pretty pumped! It needs a couple tree's pulled out of it, and then gonna try No-tilling some beans into it. Will be interesting to see how they turn out. Pretty thankful for the opportunity!

I have a 5 shank in-line, low disturbance ripper I’d be willing to bring by if you wanted to fall rip through that low lying area. We equalized moisture through a few of those spots that are perennial problems and it definitely helps draw the moisture back down deeper and bring air into the profile. My dad said after planting on it, he’s never seen some of those places dry in the spring and it was soft and loose after the freeze/thaw. It’s an unverferth 130 and the auto reset shanks are a lifesaver. Cheers!

Awesome video like always, good job grant and get some flouters for the tracter it would make it easier to grip on soft ground and help pull the grain trailers while harvesting, if you don't want to buy flouters for the tracter then I would buy a tracter with flouters and that has a lot of horse power, but it would be cheaper to buy flouters. I'm just saying getting flouters would benefit but it would make it weird driving on a road with other cars but you'll figure it out. good job and can't wait till you upgrade your farm and your tracters and your combine. love watching your videos because you showed me that you can go for your dreams and I love your Farming Simulator vids because they can be funny and lighten up my mood. keep up the good work

Well after 5 or so days of finding this channel and watching every video you posted, i'm finally up to date lol... love these videos, love how you experiment with it all and finding your way in farming with spencer and your dad! Was never a huge fan of The Squad but this channel I absolutely love, you guys have a very positive vibe and even if stuff goes wrong it won't let it ruin your day.. As a viewer I do want to make a suggestion regarding camera work and the POV's and all.. I know it's a ton of work doing the Squad, IRL Farming, probably your other business(es) so editing is hard and consumes a lot of time, but (and this is my perspective, no clue how other subscribers feel about this), getting some gopro's set up on f.e. the roof or the rear of the tractor / combine and just let us see some of the work, timelapse it etc. Also instead of the wobbly and sometimes unfocused phone/camera you can use a gopro mount in the tractor for those POV shots, or even get a mount for on your hat lol Maybe a tripod setup for static camera work so it all turns out some nicer... maybe i'm just nitpicking Love the content Grant/Spence and hope y'all continue to grow the channel and the work/equipment... you definitely have a long lasting subscriber here!

Without going back I don't remember which model planter/which seed meters. On a vacuum planter see if someone around you had precision planting e-set kits that went to electric drive, maybe you could get them reasonable to help improve singulation. Either way meter and seed tube maintenance helps and a local precision dealer could run your meters for you Oh and if nothing else....you know a certain Pipe layer that happens to be an Ag Leader dealer I believe he said, check them for parts also

I’m not familiar with JD planters or yours, if you have a finger or vacuum meter. But do you ever take your meters to someone with a meter stand for calibration or a tune up? do you have precision parts on your meters? I normally feel that on a average planter precision meters or parts on a meter give the biggest bang for the dollar.
