Looks like the Vessi material pretty much sacrificed breathability for waterproofing. To be fair, most shoes also do that, but casual wear nowadays usually is more breathable for extended usage purposes. Might be great for rainy weather, but for a hot Japanese day, you will have a puddle inside your shoe.

I agree that snack boxes like Bokksu and Sakura Co. are better as presents or a one-time purchase to try authentic regional snacks, but unless you REALLY love snacks and you REALLY love trying new things, it's probably not worth an indefinite monthly subscription. That said, considering the price of plane tickets, it probably is cheaper than just flying to Japan and coming home with a suitcase full of snacks. I purchased a Sakura Co. box to give to someone for Christmas who lived in Japan for a while, and I accidentally forgot to cancel my subscription until the next one already shipped. It WAS fun to try all the different stuff, even the things I didn't necessarily enjoy, but I can't justify the cost of doing that regularly. If I had nothing else to spend my money on, it might be a nice thing to spoil myself with, but I'd rather upgrade my PC.

alot of the sponsors like most youtube sponsors, are just dropshipped low quality products, alot of their budget is their marketing hence why every youtuber gets bombarded with ads because they have a massive marketing budget.

I realllllly wish Vessi had Wide sizes, they didn't a year ago at least, I checked. I need those in most normal shoes, and for the reasons Mudan mentions, they need the wide more than most.

Use only products with waifu on it for a day.

I absolutely love these Japan vlog videos. ✌️ Also it's so freaky to hear you speak Estonian since I'm Finnish and our languages are so similar. When you said "Katso että se on kliini" I laughed a bit because that is exactly how you say that in Finnish as well. Usually Estonian to my ears sounds like Finnish but I can't understand the words. About the Vessis: I've been wearing Vessis daily since 2020, and have gotten about a year of medium to heavy use out of each pair. Waterproofing never failed, and the fabric and adhesives holding the shoes together hold well, but I end up having to buy new ones due to the soles wearing out. With that, and the fact that they break in fairly quickly, I would readily recommend them to anyone.

The best sweet bun I ever had was from a SakuraCo box (I only ever ordered a snack box once in my life) and this video made me want to order a box again! Yes it was expensive, around 60$ with shipping too, but the Sakura Cos come with an accessory, either a dish or cuterly. Theyre not always great but its a cute addition. I would recommend that over bokksu personally.

I mean, if you want Japanese snacks in Estonia. Just go to the local anix there for cheaper and you can pick whatever. They also do their own snack boxes for way way cheaper. I feel 60 is way too steep but then again they are working with local companies.

18 minute Mudan vlog video LET'S GOOOOO!

lol you picked the narrowest and flattest Vessi style. The other styles are wider and I find better looking (without the issue of showing your toes poking out). I've been wearing mine daily and walk 5-8k a day and they are going strong a year out. They're not designed for running/heavy exercise in though - definitely do not swap out your running shoes unless you want to destroy yourself. I do find they breathe find if you have sufficient space/width in them even in heat and high humidity but maybe that's just me. I do love you can just hohse them off or toss them into the washing machine to clean them. I walk about 5k a day in mine and they've been going well for a year now. If you live in a high precipitation area like I do, they are a godsend. No more wet and soggy feet/socks. Re boxsu - boxes like these i find are good for people who don't know where to start with Japanese snacks and aren't planning to go. I'm not a fan of these sort of boxes as well but would make a nice present to introduce someone to various treats who isn't familiar with them that are of good quality. Genmaicha is one of my favorite teas since the roasted rice mellows the bitterness of the tea (if it's really bitter you may have over brewed it - it's a green tea so needs a lower temp and shorter brew time most of the time than black teas). I think that super sweet tea would be something I would pass on XD even though I love muscat flavour. Good to know the raycons aren't better than the Samsung earbuds. Interesting that the razor isn't as good as cheaper ones, they've been hyped a lot from what I saw.

Some things I enjoy in Vessi's shoes (though it could still be better) are how round and wide the tip is and how thin the sole can be. There is a growing need for shoes that are less restrictive on the toes, and the Vessi shoes could be just a bit wider on the tip, but it is already better than even Mizuno's. Another advantage that goes beyond the water resistance is the near-zero drop in the heel for some sneakers. Perhaps only Sketchers could come close to that, but most running and walking shoes are borderline high-heeled.

Though it was the only one that had a chance since I've got good earbuds, don't shave often enough for a subscription, and there's no way in hell I'm ordering shoes online when I wear Size 15W and NEED to be in-person to feel the fit before I spend that kind of scratch.

My sister has a fairly large social media following and was sent vessis for us to wear when we were in Japan. Wearing them for long days around Tokyo, my feet didn't hurt, per se, but they weren't exactly comfy either. Can say they do keep out water pretty well though lol

With the Raycons, the main issue with their sound is that they boost the base an insane amount, which doesnt translate to IEMs the best. Then the mids drop hard, meaning that about 80% of the instruments you would hear, have a sound quality drop.

The thing about the IE200s is that they had this “feature” where you can adjust the bass by covering the hole on the side of the nozzle. This was not a very well thought out thing so most people suggested you cover it with some tape.

Vessi were a thing before TT advertised them. Since they were made in Vancouver for our vancouver rain-city weather, they are perfect. I still have a pair from 5 years ago that I wear when its raining outside and they're still waterproof. The knitwear is also great for keeping my feet warm in the winter. Recently bought a pair of their Stormburst model and wore them in Sapporo last week. Always pack a pair of Vessi with me for traveling.

Honestly this is all I want, a channel that tries all the sponsors and says if it's actually good. The only one I tried was Sakuraco and it's a solid choice, only problems sometimes is customs being a bitch. Heck, when I stopped getting it my mom started buying it (and no, she isn't sharing..)

The review on Vessi is actually helpful. I've been thinking of buying a pair for a long time, but you showed that it's one of those brands that makes long, but narrow shoes. Literally the type of shoes I physically can't wear due to my weird foot shape.
