I said goodbye to Animation

Saying goodbye in any shape or form can be really difficult...Which is probably why saying goodbye to the industry was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do.
Saying it out loud though I think will help me move forward towards the exciting adventure (whatever that may be) in my life!
I promise to have a little bit more of an upbeat video for you next time!
So until then, stay awesome my friends!

As an indie 3d animator also, this is really saddening to watch, I started like 5yrs ago,and even with a part of me always also leaning towards tech (neural programming etc) and most times i can't imagine my life without both fields (from that tiny spark of joy of creating something that screams- you) I literally had to just convince my brain that we'll find a perfect way to merge them both even if in context they really don't seem alike. One thing I'll always be grateful for is that i get to do what i really love even if sometimes it can be really hard having to face some reality check. I hear you 100% and also appreciate your kind words; It was truly a tough decision. However, I'm holding onto threads of hope that the industry itself will also go on its own healing journey. I hope that you continue to do what you love and find joy within the Indie space. If i return, I may focus more on the Indie-Animation. Till then I'm just gona focus on doing things that are creative that bring joy and rediscovering that joy too.

Hey! I know that was a really tough decision, but sometimes focusing on what truly makes you happy and satisfied is the way to go. It’s true that sometimes what you love doing might hold you back or even not make you a lot of money, which is the sad side of the art industry. But pursuing your passion can bring its own rewards beyond financial gain. However, I can still recommend using your animation and drawing skills in other areas. If you're interested in writing, creating your own illustrated book or story would be amazing. And designing video games is also a fantastic option-it's super fun, and it's so motivating to see others enjoy and play the games you create. In the end, it's all about what you really care about and want to do. I wish you the best! 🌟

Thank you and honestly really good advice! I was already planning to explore my other creative outlets and passions and actually learn some animation programs to do some personal projects myself. Animation will always be a part of me and as I said if I return I may be looking into Indie spaces and just focusing on projects that align with a more positive and encouraging atmosphere and a lot more joy (during the process lol)

Its time for something new--I may return to animation but as it stands currently with the industry, I'm having to do a lot of healing and reprioritizing. I'll still to do art and if I do animation it'll mostly be personal projects or maybe even indie. :) But that's in the future!
