Wow, a beautiful experience for you Chris and mission accomplished. Miha was very informative & an excellent guide who explained everything with such passion. Next time I'm in the forest I'll be looking out for those huge paw prints.

Thank you for this very interesting Documentation! Thanks also for the lot of good (Fun-)Facts from the sympathically Wildlife-Guide Mika. Just now, we're staying in Travna Gora for Bearwatching-Tours (in Hrib-Loski Potok), Hiking and enjoying this wonderful Nature-Areas. Just a very important question; -) My wife asks, where this Restaurant is, where you have Dinner before you go the Bearwatching-Point? Thanks a lot!!!

I am hiking alone in the Logar Valley and Robanov Kot region next year. It is not in the "bear region" of Slovenia but I am already so worried because I have never been in a bear country haha.

Slovenian highway A1 is considered as bear barrier.. maybe one was sneaking on another side, well good luck to him/her, I hope he/she wasn’t alone 😅 Don’t worry, bears aren’t in Alpine region, just don’t go up there with beach equipment, like many are trying to do, in sandals 👡 or flip flops 🩴 My post is not meant for you, it’s for many others visitors, who thinks that Slovenians Alps are easy and then they die, like in France, Austria, Switzerland when they are hiking unprepared
