LOVE this game, not only it has banger ost but the sound design supports it in an awesome way (the character voices and weapon sounds mostly)

Do not mistake, the Machine God and Omnissiah are two. Not one. Machine God is the the God. Omnissiah is the prophet of the Machine God who they think is the Emperor. EDIT - As mentioned bellow, Prophet is the wrong word. A 'manifestation' would be sort of correct. But again, not the same things. Cult Mechanicus refers to Machine God and Omnissiah separately. ie: they pray to the machine god, but the omnissiah protects.

Not quite. The Omnissiah is the physical manifestation of the Machine God, not a prophet, that they say takes the form of the Emperor.

@@khinzaw77 True, I did not find the correct word. A form of a manifestation is right. But I do highlight it is again not Machine God == Omnissiah. The explicitly refer both different. The Mechanicus were worshiping the Machine God, and Big E showed up and introduced some new tech, plus fixed some of the Admech stuff. So the Admech thought he is the Omnissiah, which BigE played along with to get Mechanicus support. (Its like that Monty Python skit- He is the messiah! Or Dune - Lisan Al'Gaib). There is also the 3rd - Deus Mechanicus. Which is the sort of 'machine life force' kind of thing. It is that separation of 3 ideals that causes the Schism of Mars. Because the major amount of Dark Mechanicus understands BigE 'faked it' and is not the actual Omnissiah. As for what they are or can be; Many community believe Machine God is the Void Dragon in Mars, Omissiah is E. As AdMech, you pray to the Machine God, Its the Ominissiah that protects. Two things.

@@MALITH666 Also, fun fact. In recent lore we have some idea of what a machine spirit is. Its human neural tissue wired into their tech to replace computer components. This explains so much about how imperial tech works its actually kind of amazing that this wasn't planned ahead of time. Like, its clearly a retcon, as in the past they've implied machine spirits were fragmented AI, but it fits so well.

@@MALITH666 Deus Mechanicus is just high gothic for the Machine God. The Mechanicus has a holy trinity similar to Christianity: The Machine God (God), his physical manifestation the Omnissiah (Jesus), and the Motive Force (The holy spriit) which expresses itself as the the spiritual power that fuels life and machines and expresses itself as the machine spirits.

I know you wanna experience as many Warhammer games as you can, but I'd also highly suggest to check out Helsreach by Richard Boylan, it's basically an animation of an official Audiobook, describing the story of a squad of space marines in defense of a city, following the main character, Grimaldus. The creator basically took the audiobook and animated and put the audio on top, a must watch, just for the story and animation. I'm glad you are checking Warhammer out though, with the good and the bad, it still holds a special place for a lot of us :D
