This is a great Video. This brings back painful memories which i have been enduring. My relationship of 5 years ended 3 months ago. The love of my life decided to leave me, I really love her so much I can’t stop thinking about her, I’ve tried my very best to get her back in my life, but to no avail, I’m frustrated, I don’t see my life with anyone else. You have to buy out your spouse in a divorce. If you got 80k in equity then you have to give your partner 40k. If you broke then you know that the house will go up for sale. She doesn’t know the law

If a woman didn't contribute to buying the house in a marriage shouldn't she have more of her own money to live on in a divorce? It seems like they want to double dip. If a man already has the house paid for and you plan on your marriage lasting forever then what's the problem? The only reason to need her name on anything is so she can get a come up in a divorce. Anything dealing with death can be addressed and taken care of in the last will and testament. She don't need her name on shit if hubby still alive.

There needs to be a major piece of legislation in America around family laws. It makes absolutely NO SENSE at all that if a marriage doesn't work, that person is completely destroyed financially. One person should buy the house, and the other should pay an amount that is reasonable based on the fact that the home owner has an interest deduction, and debt pay down.

My wife is on the deed to our house, but I exclusively carry the mortgage loan on our 4BD, 3Bath, 2 story home. I did the same with our first home, cause she had terrible credit. So I understand what she's saying. Here's the problem Ive seen in my perspective, a lot of people get married with the idea they may get divorced rather than working through issues, especially women because these days its all based on emotion. When you are married though, there is no more "I" only "our." Especially for those of Christian faith.
