You’re welcome! Make sure you are not in warranty first because it will probably void it. I believe it is a year. Also, be very careful with the electronics, they are delicate.

I don’t have a trident yet , how is this powered and where on the new mod is it shown please?

It is powered by a 1 link cable. It can also be powered with a power adapter. The plugs are on the back of the unit at the bottom. There is a window in the back for those connections.

It seems like the mini would be better than the original with that see through plastic window the og has. The mini completely covers the cuvette and optical sensor and keeps random light out of it.

I think so as well. It is also much easier to maintain the unit. The downside is how delicate the optical sensor is. When I did this at first, the sensor wouldn’t register, and kept saying “no sample”. That was because it fell out of the notches that hold it in place. But overall, I like this much better, and will be doing it to my other Trident.

@@Reefer_Matt I’m kinda hesitant bc I literally just got mine in March so it’ll void my warranty. Once that’s up I’ll probably switch to the mini
