To the people complaining about the coach, once you reach a certain point with your students you expect them to know what they did wrong. Usually coaching improvement happens after matches. Like watching replays and pointing out room for improvement. Besides, the coach was only there to watch.

What I like so much about Sunless' videos isn't that there are sick clips, many youtubers get sick clips. It's the production quality, the story telling, the exciting intros, the scene setting music. It's less like he is showing us clip and more like he is giving an experience. Love this video, loved the last one I saw, loved all of the ones before that! Keep up the good work. Thank you Sunless.

@@infinitydragon8050 There have been some leagues running for a few years, but it's been growing fast recently. My school made an esports team this spring season and I've been playing. Sucks it couldn't have been before my senior year. Tbh most of the teams are pretty bad, lots of goldish teams. Probably roughly a third gold and below, a third around plat, and a third diamond and above. The national champions last year were only like champ 1s and 2s i think, so it definitely still has lots of room to grow.

Hey man, I just downloaded RL last week and have maybe 4 solid days in. Really shoddy at the start, still hard on the warmup, I lost rank from gold to silver on my 2nd / 3rd day and here on the start of the fifth, watched this vid to start the mental practice and my first match after warmup went 5-3, 3 shots, and my play style was completely different. Some of my shots were honestly impressive for my level and I’ve even started working on my roof shots (I missed the boost on the ball, but I got the assist in, from far court/right, centered on the goal) Thank you for your videos!!

He was doing fast aerials mate. There are plenty of Champs who can't fast aerial. As a Diamond, I myself cannot do them consistently. So a Plat 1 doing them, while the aerials were pretty difficult, is pretty shocking.

@@kuronosasori550 I didn't know that. I learned them in Gold 2 or something and I am currently stuck in Plat 2. I thought, fast Aerials were ultra important.

Why not look into it and try to get it going yourself? A few guys at my school got together and started one up, got a good turnout, and it's grown well in 2 years.

Go to free play. Ball chase for 30 minutes and then play a match. Mechanics are important if you can't match the speed of the game.

@@EvostarSC speed of the game isn’t so much an issue, my positioning is generally pretty good but my judgement and decision making is my weak points

@@iMDN94 if you hit the ball with purpose you don't have to make as much judgement calls because you are controlling the pace. Speed is everything until you get to diamond 3. If you can't keep up your options are limited regardless of your positioning. Matching the speed of the ball is the easiest way to always hit the ball. That's transversal velocity baby!

i play for an esports varsity team who got 4th place last season. we played teams very similar in skill to these guys its interesting to watch this basically the team is a classic type that we play. the one good player and the two not as good players. and then we got bad comms, bad chemistry, and bad relationships between the teammates.

sunless i love your videos and have learned a lot from you (more than musty) and your contient seems more with the flow rather than forced or serious. I want to be a rocket league youtuber just like you but i havent had much luck and im trying to reach gc but im currently plat 1 i wish i could be coached by you or 1v1 against you to feel the superiority that you have over me :)
