Great advice. I think you’re a natural. I had 2 shows and was just terrible at it. I felt crazy talking to the comment section 🤣. I ran out of things to say. I am so private and such an introvert that the struggle became real. I want to do it again. I need to have a better plan. Thank you

I agree , Poshmark is rinse and repeat . On whatnot , you need a following . If not you need to go live very often and no that items will sell for less than eBay but they move . Great job Nicole ! You explained it well .

Congrats! Some of us are still trying to get on Whatnot. I'm sure a competitor will rise soon and maybe I should just wait for that to happen. I might start making some content about NOT getting on Whatnot and where else to look.

I watch you mainly to see what's selling and for how much. I've followed you on KZfaq for years. What Not is just about the only place where I can find you now. 😀 I don't need inventory and I certainly don't need to add to my wardrobe. I have bid on some things I really liked but didn't win 😕

I have bought and sold. I have no desire to work that hard. I have no consistency and dont want to put on entertainment. So much easier for me to run my website. I just chill and sell and can pay my bills. Thankful for that. I can take days off from work anytime. Eves are free too. Love all you guys for trying. At my age I'm lucky to make it to the gym and the Post Office! LOL.

Nicole think back to when you first started out -- it's not just personality although it's like a reality show. You were not afraid to open up to us with your good days and your bad. Not everything you did turned out perfect. You had to hit some bumps along the way. You did it though -- you didn't let your mistakes hold you back and you're an introrvert -- or at least you were and if you were to look at yourself today would you still consider yourself an introvert? You are outgoing now and enjoying life! Love to see you blossom. Extraverts will do well at What Not.

I had my first show yesterday, I had 34 bookmarks and only 3 -4 people came. No worries though picking myself back up and trying again.

I definitely am curious about Whatnot. However I work in Healthcare and we are so short handed at my hospital. When I finally get home, I don't even want to list my death pile on Poshmark or Mercari.

Hi Nicole, maybe you could do content surrounding loading the store, shipping, etc. I've watched your KZfaq videos where you do a side by side screen on some of the tips you've given. A sort of behind the scenes for WhatNot might be cool. Most sellers who are doing well always say how much work it is. But if you aren't selling on the app yet you can't quite connect to the amount of work it is and if its worth it. I think that would be valuable content.

I was so gonna ask about your sales totals comparison right until I heard you say “Im not gonna say” 😂 but aside from that can you maybe do some other comparisons…such as how long it took you on Poshmark to sell 5k items vs the 3 months it took on what not to sell 5K items or any other comparison stats

I did one show and felt totally fine in front of the camera. My problem is I have a full time job and I could tell immediately that WhatNot would be too much work for me. I need to sell at a slower pace, so I can keep up with it. 😂

I started selling on whatnot on July. And had ONE show. Lol. I dog the cameraderie and I have great energy. Love that part I SUCKED AT pinning things while I was talking to people and reading the chat and responding and remembering start the auction. Anyhoo I had like 35 people which I thought I was not too bad. And on the 6th item, I accidentally stopped the stream and there is no way to restart the show. Gahhhh! My show just ended right there. I was mortified. And the only way to do it again is to schedule another show. Which I haven’t done because I’m not sure how I did that by accident and I am TERRIFIED I’ll do it again. 😂

I bet you are sourcing everyday -- you my dear have become a regular -- and why the hell not? I know I need to get out more an source!

I have been an observer/shopper/chatter for 6 weeks and I am sold on every level. Now, I’m throwing my hat in the ring (retired professor) and starting this Saturday I’m thinning out my personal Starbucks cups collection. Then, I ‘m going into apparel sales. I had a successful eBay store a few years ago, and this platform is so different being a mashup of eBay, Twitch, and QVC! I’m ready for the grind lol. Your WN shows are amazing & I really enjoy them! I got a ban threat bc I messaged u and asked a question about shipping & mentioned the word eBay 🫣🫣oops! I asked are you familiar w uship... and 2nd question-how do u keep Poshmark inventory organized from whatnot, without pulling stuff from already inventoried bins & then having piles everywhere. Clutter gives me anxiety & so far after 2 shows its WORSE THAN A DEATH PILE 🤣. Xoxo congrats on ur 5k sales! Ur the BEST!
