I say get the Mustang back on the road and, then built an off road trailer for the family to go camping with you. It wouldn’t take much since most of the gear is in the Jeep now. It could be used for sleeping and hauling duties.

I would like to see a 4x4 camper van DIY build like sportsmobile. Glad you are keeping the jeep. Mustang build could be interesting but those builds are all over, but it would be a cheap good project to start the year.

My pops had a harley when I was a kid, it broke when I was about 7 and it sat in the basement/moved houses with us. On their last move it got sold in pieces to someone else. It was really sad to see that project never happen. Feel like you gotta do the mustang. Them vans are a whole different kind of money pit, I've had a super hard time justifying cost. I'd watch the used market for a while and see if any of those 60-100k DIY van builds are actually selling
