It does deserve a 'wha happun?' There was a lot of missed opportunities with this, and if some things were corrected it would had been a cool mini side series for both franchieses. Trailers for them though were top!

Despite the flaws, this game is a lot of fun. With more patches it could been great. But it was dead on arrival because of the dlc fiasco. The time out thing could been fixed with time stopping during supers/activations and grabs.

I definitely would love a Wha Happun on this game. It's two of some of my favourites franchises of all time and it left a horrible taste in my mouth... it STILL managed to tank.. I'd like to hear your thoughts on it.

I purchased the collector's edition back in 2012, it's typically super SF IV vs bootleg tekken. Great soundtrack though.

At least Tekken 7 gave us a idea of what Street Fighter characters look and play like if the Tekken x SF would ever happen. Annnnd I think I still own this. haha

Playing it nowadays is really fun tbh, one of my favorite games to lab and mess with rn, there's an active Discord community for the Steam version, community patch removes GFWL and fixes up some other stuff, the 2013 update did wonders to this game, but they already shot themselves in the foot on launch.

I loved this game! It had an incredibly bad launch but after the 2013 patch it was an amazing game, had a crazy good team of Cody and King that worked so well together.

I think you're only allowed to Wha Happun SFxT if you throw in clips of Max's miniseries on it. The one he did to hype it up. It has MySpace levels of hindsight embarrassment to it.

I still played more of this game than I did SFV. A lot more.

I've always assumed that Capcom used Poison, Hugo, Rolento and Elena models here and added it to USF4. It seems to have a few signs of it. And I always thought Tekken 7 was salvaged from the Tekken X Capcom plans but scrapped because of this game. Tekken 7 had a bit of SF elements in it. Akuma and Geese in it shows how it could have been. The addition of supers gives it some weight.

I know you hate this game, but it was honestly my favorite Capcom fighter from the PS360 generation. I'm sure a part of that is due to how it was actually playable online as opposed to the slideshows that were SF4 and MvC3, but still. I think it was a great game once you got past all the corporate bullcrap. Honestly if they just added tag-team to SF4 it would have been a much more fun game to me. Tag-team really helps smooth out lopsided matchups, we just rarely see that potential explored because most tag-team games also have assists that almost always ends up making matchups broken all over again.

i dont what happened in my street fighter x tekken, but whenever i play it, it says “failed to load game. the game cannot continue. returning to the title screen.” pls help, i really want to play it again, but i cant seem to find a way to fix it. i think the problem is with the cd because it has many scratches and some laser burns but i also dont know how to fix it.

Street Fighter X Tekken was the "Capcom vs SNK" of the 2010s

I loved this game, played it a lot back when it was released and had a lot of fun with it. The gem system was bullshit, which I played without but for what the game was, I liked it a lot.

I love this game in terms of the gameplay, I admit the whole dlc and gem stuff really ruined it but I keep going back to play it all the time. The Tekken character in the Street Fighter engine fit really well and I feel like they could make a whole spinoff game series using the combo system and engine of SFxT with the Tekken style movesets on original characters.

I was busy playing Tekken Tag Tournament 2 (sense it came out the same year), and do a Wha Happun on this.

I recall at the time they said they were doing it twice in each games Engine. But they never did the other version i.e the Tekken Engine

What killed this game for me was that at the time the main console to play SF was 360, me and my friend were (and still are) heavily into SFIV. When the game dropped the excitement was through the roof because we could play as a team with our characters. Only to realize that feature was left out of the 360 version
