Join me in Rimworld Save Our Ship 2 as I push the boundaries of survival, endeavouring to lay the groundwork for our spacefaring dreams. Brace for the toughest trials on the highest difficulty setting. Can I persevere and set the course for our interstellar future? I will note, it’s not just technology Sarah looks for, she will also check if you have high tech buildings like fabrication stations and etc.

The quest "ship mayday" is very good because if you can face the mech threat, you can deconstruct the downed ship and get lots of advanced components and plasteel. But it's a true challenge with a 100% threat, sooooo with a 500% it's basically impossible

25,000 raid points. The other raids on his colony with all of his pawns were around 9000

Veequeue is the one responsible for me being afraid of playing above Adventure Story difficulty because I don't like building Killboxes. The raids he keeps getting at even moderate Wealth makes it impossible to survive without a Killbox.

You should watch Adam vs Everything rimworld videos, he plays 500% with no pause and no kill box. The trick is to build lots of walls around yours base and use Assault rifles which generally outrange all enemies.

@@jabonny Adam uses killboxes quite often, but from time to time does challenges without them, yea. The main trick is wealth management I'd say. Basically every nicely decorated room you add also adds 3-4 raiders to your next raid, thats why Adam almost always builds just one giant room and builds only the bare minimum.

try the ship weapons as turrets! i heard they made them double as defensive turrets. also get to space asap, even if your ship is basic. the comp/plasteel/steel grind is insane on planet. also use lots of engines... sarah likes killing player ships

Probably would have made sense for a randy playthrough early game then switch when the ships up and running when the massive wealth actually starts mattering.

For building the ship everything you are taking with you needs to be built atop hull plating. Anything not on a hull plate gets left behind.

fun fact, enemies do not attack unpowered mechanoids as they consider them dead, so you can use the sleep mod of the mechanoids to save them from being targeted if they cant make it to the base or if they have short ranged attack, have your mechanitor stand far behind them while they are unpowered, and activate them once the enemy is close enouph

whenever i play Rimworld SOS2 even without any gamechanger mods it never works i use SOS2 for ship building and the problem is that the devmode is there, but never opens. i can not click godmodeand neither can i finish all research - the 2 critical perequisites to ship building. i tried using mods affiliated to SOS2 but none of them work can anyone give me any help?
