I'm just in love with the new bumper bar!
I have to say after buying 20 Hayters over a period of 16 years I can honestly say this Hayter 48 Pro is bloody fantastic.
This is my honest review.
Over the years I've seen the machine go from good to worst, and then when they get better they don't go the whole way and fix everything. But they have nailed it with this one.
The changes that were so needed:
The handle that was taken off is back and boy it's back to stay, but isn't quite in the right place I think.
The wheels are solid and doing really well.
The split rear roller is perfect, but there is a bit of wear on the drive gearing plate.
The quick wash system is a nice touch and does an OK job, but it has limitations.
The gearbox and other mechanics are more robust than before.
And I love the bumper bar sooooooo much!
Buy one, you can't go wrong.
Enjoy

🌝 WHO AM I
I'm Phil and I started All Gardening on 19th April 2004. I started looking after lawns because I thought they were simple, but I soon realised simple is very different to easy. I now look after many lawns and help many others to look after their lawns too, and I write a weekly email newsletter that contains some quick thoughts + links to interesting things www.allgardening.co.uk/pages/...

P.S. When you do something simple for a long time you become very knowledgeable, you go deeper the more you look at things simply. It always surprises me how much there is to learn about caring for a lawn when you get-started.
