which is insane to me because you really wouldn't think the writing team was made up of so many women but here we are. yknow what given the content in the books the fact there was a terf [keyword being WAS: they aren't anymore and their actual involvement in the books was unclear but my point still stands] on the staff really shouldn't have been as shocking as it was to people at the time like...look at the writing.

Whitewing trying to get her daughters to talk to her is genuinely one of my favourite things in Warriors. I feel like we never get to see parents trying to interact with their kits past… well, kithood, unless it’s for drama or they were already important before becoming a main character’s parent. It’s just nice to see

the thing that gets me is that, like..... there's really no reason for all that sexism to be in there. Cats have very little sexual dimorphism, if you wanted to appeal to biology. These cats don't culturally seem to have much by way of gender roles, either. They're just randomly sexist for no apparent reason.

Okay I know this is random…. But can you please make a talking video on Blackstar? I know that this is an I Spoil so you probably don’t suggestions but what the heck. I think Blackstar is a super interesting leader considering he is one of the more background character types. He supported two awful dictators, was forgiven, became a dictator himself, was respected, he has a kill count of three ( though let’s be honest, that number is from the wiki so it is probably way underestimating his character), AND he appointed the leader who would destroy his clan. I feel like he has so many things going on and was the perfect pretty-evil-but-not-a-complete-serial-killer type leader born to lead Shadowclan. And his novella does not exist so just remember that when reading this comment. That book should die more times than heavystep and beetlewhisker.
