my first love is baking but after being diagnosed with lipedema and slowly losing my ability to stand for 8+ hours i know eventually ill have to give it up. im looking for a new passion, one that will fulfil me almost as much as baking does... working from home is an option now a days but i dont want to just work for some big company talking on the phone all day i want to do some thing creative like baking. i really love the idea of opening an etsy shop one day, hopefully ill get there! thank you for this video its really helpful your stickers are so cute this is giving me so much hope (':

Thanks! I made the acrylic keychains through vograce.com. I designed them as a sticker and then uploaded the design (without the white borders) on their website.

Thank you so much for sharing! This was very helpful! I was wondering if anyone else has had problems with the cricut not being able to read and cut glossy sticker paper? Or is using matte sticker paper and laminating like in this video the better option?

I believe Cricut does not cut glossy sticker paper, however, I know people have been taping the sides of the glossy sticker paper with matte tape so that Cricut will think it’s matte and will still cut through!

Thank you so much for sharing your process! I’ve been making shirts and onesies with htv for awhile but just started trying out sticker making recently. This is so insightful!! Any idea how to prevent your stickers from curling and/or sticking to each other slightly? They tend to stick together a bit if stacked on top of each other for me but yours are so clean! I’ve tried setting the ink to the lowest setting and peeling off the cricut mat slowly yet it still somehow manages to curl 😭

If they are curling as you are peeling them off, you can try to use one of the pointy Cricut tools to slowly get them off the mat. But sadly, I am also having the curling issue while they're stored and am looking for a solution.

I actually don't do anything special, I haven't noticed the quality decreasing, I just share it in Procreate as a PNG and use Airdrop to send to my phone and then post it.

Hi, I really enjoyed your tutorial. I went on your etsy shop and noticed you stated your stickers are now waterproof. What supplies did you change? Thank you so much for sharing.💜

Yes, I just made the update. I was using the regular matte stickers from onlinelabels.com but even with the lamination it was not waterproof or not good with water at all lol I am now using Zicoto's matte premium vinyl sticker paper. It's water resistant and I still add the laminating sheet for more protection.

I'm loving all these videos showing how people started shops for their crafts! I was wondering if I could have some advice? Besides the fact I need a printer in general but eventually I'd like to get into making my own bookmarks/greeting cards and have been trying to research the best ones for the job. I decided on the one I see you and other crafters/small business owners use, the Printer Canon PIXMA TS9521C. But I've read from some that there's been compatibility issues with macOS Monterey? Have you had any issues with the printer when having to update your Mac?

How do you make the designs for stickers? Do you draw them on procreate?

Yes :) I draw them on Procreate on my iPad using the Apple pencil.

You’re doing the copy and paste the hard way in design space. You only need one image, make it, and change project copy to the number of stickers you need!

No, you do not. At first I thought so, but you only need the subscription if you want to use the images that Cricut provides.

I design my own stickers in Procreate, then print and cut using Cricut Design Space.

In this video, I was using Online Labels Standard White Matte sticker paper but it's not waterproof even with the laminate. I have now updated my sticker paper to Zicoto's Vinyl Matte Paper which is waterproof and i also laminate it.

I don't have my equipment but I'm watching videos over and over so when I do get my equipment I will be very familiar with everything, this is very exciting can't wait to start.

Technically you're not supposed to, but you can get around it by not using the copyrighted words on any of your listing like Harry Potter, Hogwarts, Quidditch, character names, etc and use general terms like magical, castle, broomsticks. I also put HP on the title instead of the full name.
