This time, I stayed at "Ekimae Onsen Topos" which offers a capsule room with the largest size in the capsule hotel industry. They have an artificial hot spring, sauna, and so many other services. Just sit back, relax, and enjoy the video.

I understand you completely. I suffer from military PTSD. My wife doesn't understand it. I have a noise machine the VA gave me that has 200 different soft noises on it, and I use it. Or I leave the TV on at night. (My wife shuts it off), or I go out and listen to the wind and birds. Or... like you... I watch these EXCELLENT videos.

I love the whole idea. Private, yet cozy. Looks pretty safe also if you are female traveling alone. There is much to like about the civility of Japanese customs and people. I hope to return to Okinawa one day. One of the most beautiful places I lived growing up. Would like to live there again in my elder years now.

I agree wholeheartedly. There have been many times when I was taking a 24 hour trip between states, that I was already tired when I started out and didn’t feel like sleeping sitting in my car, at a rest stop. So I end up stopping at an expensive… For me… Hotel, Just to get a three or four hour nap. This would be great! A quick nap in the ONLY space that I need to sleep. I don’t need a whole big room. I don’t need a desk. I don’t need TV. I don’t need chairs or tables etc. I just need a bed that my body can sleep for a bit.

Hi! I really enjoy your style of showing people around. I got some stupid questions about traveling. What are your top 3 places to stay at? Can a tourist stay weekly and / or monthly? Would you recommend a tour guide service or just travel by myself. I'm not from there. Are you from Japan and where you're from? If you don't want to answer the questions, I understand. If you like make up some real interesting stuff. Like you are from another planet. 🤣😁 Thank you for your time. Hoping to get some extra money to give.

@@edster8416 well if you go for two nights and pay 1/2 - 2/3rds just for the actual stay, and the rest in cleaning fees, and they still left you with expectations on doing cleaning yourself in addition it has raised the eyebrows of Airbnb as price gouging tacked on fees, it depends on the country you are visiting, and in America I'm finding news of hidden cameras being spotted in the rentals, it's one thing to sacrifice privacy for sure. Airbnb is trying to eliminate using rental locations as party locations because of damages. But who in the world would be expecting to launder the sheets, towels, other linens they used (this time shortens their usability of the rental while cleaning) take out the trash, do the dishes, put them away, vacuum, and STILL be charged a cleaning fee.

Thanks for these looks into Japanese in life - much appreciated from a Canadian. Question: If a married couple check into a capsule hotel, what happens? Are they required to sleep in two separate capsules? Or are they allowed in a single capsule? Are there different areas for men's capsules and women's capsules? I was also wondering about this because I was wondering how the hotel deals with prostitution. Personally, I could sleep in a capsule hotel easily. However, I'm not a big fan of the thin pull-down door. It's not enough security and not enough sound blocking. It made me wonder what would happen if your neighbors in another capsule started having sex? It would be a nightmare for all the other capsules around. So how does the hotel deal with this?
@weatherwitchandfelinefamiliars
@weatherwitchandfelinefamiliars Жыл бұрын
From my understanding I have not yet seen a capsule hotel where men and women don't have separate sleeping areas. The curtain doors are a legal requirement in these places which are called a simple accommodation. If you want sleeping areas with door locks that appears to be hotels with full on rooms as opposed to capsule rooms/sleeping pods. As to anything else in capsule rooms I'd be amazed if that was allowed because patrons are required to use headphones when simply viewing television so as not to disturb other guests. They simply behave better and more respectfully, like after sleeping packing up the bedding instead of leaving it sprawled for the staff to sort out. Like the extreme cleanliness of the streets, the rooms, the bathrooms, bathing areas. I have basically binge watched about ten different channels for Japanese vlogs, I find it very relaxing and beyond fascinating. It's an entirely different mind frame, instead of being frustrated by the delay caused by road works (like in the UK, America etc) the vlogger thanked the workmen for making the roads safer 😮💖
