Hi Doug, Singaporean here Since we are right on the equator, there is not much variation between the weather in December and June, it is equally hot and humid all year round!

Just stay some further from the 'center' like 1 or 2 stops with the MRT from Bugis you find like a Ibis for 50€ a night..

Love your hotel and restaurants choices, because it's affordable, cheap but the best! Thanks for your recommendations and suggestions! Hopefully you'll do again this kind of content, hotel and restaurants reviews because it will help tourists especially those traveling solo, where to find a good deal out of their money, a budget friendly place to stay and eat during their vacation or trip. I'm happy that you finally decided to film again, because it's been a long time already since you've been active in your you tube channel, hoping this time you'll going to post more videos, in a daily or weekly basis. I'm anticipating and excited to watch for your latest videos. Wish all the products, places, hotels, restaurants you advertise in your channel will sponsor you to help you financially. 12:12 It's the room I occupied the other week. I had to stand on the foamed bed to reach for the hair dyer. What I am not comfortable is how near the toilet bowl to the bed. But all the rest of my experience in Singapore was perfect. I would love to be back there again.

It's incredible how expensive Singapore has become. In 1978 I stayed at Raffles for SG$55 per night. Last year we stayed at the YMCA by Dhoby Ghaut for around SG$160 which was adequate but this year we are booked for the fabulous Fort Canning which is only SG$100 per night more than the Y.

I've stayed at a hostal in Madrir which was smaller than this. Just for sleeping it's ok.

Mirror is aesthetic ❤ and same as of LCD wooden case with too many accessories of each shape especially of hair dryer ❤

Funny you should mention that. Bugis is the origins of the boogie man. Bugis were a much feared pirate race. And western sailors brought the fear home with them.

Oh dear…you should have eaten the poached( white) chicken. You were not given thigh meat or drumstick which is usually much better… not so dry as what you had which was probably breast meat which most of us avoid. Also no black sauce for dipping the chicken ?

Try to visit Japan Doug, if you go to Japan visit Tokyo. Shibuya Crossing, Shinjuku, Ginza, Akhibara, Mount Fuji, Tokyo Tower, Tokyo Skytree, and Wangan Racing.
