I did a similar road trip w my adult niece last fall. We flew into Albuquerque and rented a car. We went on a road trip through New Mexico. We went thrifting/antiquing, visited museums, hot springs, and lots of other cool spots along the way. Our final destination was El Paso, where we flew back to LA. I love these types of girl road trips 😍

I love it when you show your thrifting shopping hauls. I am obsessed with flannel too😁 i think i have like 3 or 4 different color flannel shirts. I grew up watching the old Batman series. Those cards were very cool!! I can't wait to see your video next week.

Ohhhh, you girls. That was so beautiful. What a friendship you both have. 💜💜💜💜💜💜. Had to laugh! Watching scary real life murders, in a hotel!!! Amazing how scared you can get with nothing happening. The mind is powerful! I watch real come shows all the time. Very facinating and horrible what people are capable of. Loved the items you got, particularly the clothes. That pink jersey is gorgeous! Love that you take us thrift shopping with you - thank you so much. RE: your back issues, I recommend the Thermotex heating pads - the jointed one can actually wrap around you with the velcro straps holding it in place - these are actually infrared heating pads, and the wonderful heat reaches almost 2.5 inches down into your body tissue and muscles - and - this is actually a Canadian company. I bought one for myself, one for our son and his partner, and one for yet another friend. We are all huge fans!

At least the luggage rack in front of the door would have made noise if someone tried to enter, lol! Of all the things you saw during your trip, I was disappointed that you didn’t get that quirky dresser with the strangely placed knobs. I love the Arnold Palmer flannel shirt! When you held that up when you were in the thrift store I was hoping you'd get that, so YAY! Also, I loved the books. I have a ton of books that keep multiplying but I love how homey they make a space feel.

And turns out YES they did a whole introduction of the lobby in one of their sorrylife videos. I felt like it was MY vacation, you girls make me feel like I'm traveling with ya!!

Im' with you Danie, Flanel is so soft and so practical, like it's not heavy, you can bring one easily in case the weather gets colder and it's just soooo confortable to wear believe me Danie you don't have any "flanel problem" you're just allowing your higher self to be satisfied.

I live in Guelph, Ontario, and I have been looking for cozy flannel shirts for ages, but there has been nothing. So I'm really envious of your finds. always love your videos. this one was no exception. content, editing and filming style, and mostly... you! so fun. so funny. and your projects are exceptionally wonderful. check out your 'between friends' book. i think it is a book about the border between canada and the u.s. a sort of gift from canada to the states on their bicentenial in 1976. some cool shots of the border and folks who live along it. (we got it when i was a teen. yup, definitely over 30 here! haha)

You were in my neck of the Ontario woods. Sauble and area has a lot of places to go thrifting. Clothes shopping at The Patch in Sauble is always is a must every time we go. But unfortunately, as you found out, not all stores in Sauble are open 7 days a week until the summer season official gets rolling.
