I know this is just a food channel, but I’m starting to realize these videos are kind of comforting for my inner child. I noticed I get scared when I see AJ doing normal kid things that would’ve gotten me beaten or screamed at. I always tense up and wince. Like when he comes up to her with his toy and rawrs, I instinctively wait for her to start hitting and insulting him and cussing but she never does. It’s just really nice and refreshing. Especially since that type of “parenting” is really prevalent on social media.

@@caitkris4743 There is an entire sub-genre of KZfaqrs whose whole ecosystem revolves around catching and exposing predator/abuse rings on this website. It’s actually a very serious issue on all social media platforms. Do you really have no idea about how and why KZfaq Kids became a thing? Clearly not. SomeOrdinaryGamer has made multiple videos on this topic. I constantly see people laughing and joking around in videos about how they were beaten as kids. Asian creators joking about throwing shoes and wooden spoons and what-not at their children, Hispanic creators laughing about “La Chancla”, black creators joking about “whoopings”. It’s disgusting and it’s rampant. But I’m glad you think the subject of nostalgia-fied and monetized child abuse is so funny. “That’s not abuse and I turned out fine”. Yeah, we know. Next.

@@Omnihilo damn you must've not gotten whooped before. Yeen never ran from a willow limb in your mom's hand? I used to get beat with a rowing oar with hole is them. It was a form of punishment, but I was never abused. And to bring race into it has nothing to do with it. Every race has their own type of discipline, plus Im asian and i call it whoopings. The minimization of it isnt funny but, no need to bring race when im positive every race, every, ethnicity, every nationality has hit their kids in form of discipline. Js it sounds very stereotypical, considering not only black creators give “whoopings”. 😭 Kudos to the man exposing the exploiting mfs but news flash, Race doesn't mean I'm gonna beat my kid with a spoon or a shoe bru. 😭

@@babycake2765 Wonderful advice from a stranger attempting to minimize my appreciation of a wholesome content creator. I knew what I wrote when I wrote it, I’m the one that typed it out. I already debated deleting it. But I decided to keep it up and share a bit of my story for anyone else that’s struggling through the same, even if they don’t say it. The halal guys hot sauce is on another level. People mistakenly put a lot on thinking it’s like sriracha and then regret it later. When they used to let the customers pour the sauce by the stand back then it was nice. I hate how they have them in packets now. Anyway you’re on another level on crazy to be able to handle all that spice. 🧢 off to you!

i have a really good spice tolerance too and i've been cutting back on spicy food b/c my sister told me this one story where this woman had to remove one of her intestines b/c she ate too spicy lmaoooo that stomach lining shit scares me too, i ate thai chilis with every meal for years b/c that's what my mom did and i never had any stomach problems or anything either but i've cut down b/c i'm mad scared LMAO

1:28 ...I TOTALLY noticed that last time I had their food. It takes some of the joy away eating it. It literally feels different in the packets. There was this granular feel to the old hot sauce packets. Now it has a smoother feel to the packets. It's hard to explain. Definitely not as spicy.
