I believe what the statement was trying to empart is that as exceptional individuals they are bound for greatness, however this means they are also solitary creatures since a normal life would inevitably clash with and cut into what they as individuals are so great at on their own. Tldr: huntress wizard believes while both are viable romantic options, romance will inevitably cut away from their own personal successes and experiences in life

I like to think she realized that being with someone didn't make her any less an 'exceptional beast' or make her meat soft. And yes, I know how that sounds. Weirdly felt more appropriate for the tone of the show to leave it that way.

She means that only ordinary people can fall in love, and that beast like them can't really comprehend or should bow to it. That is what makes them exceptional and different. As we see, Jake and Finn have a different experience with love and relationships. Jake only wishes to live a life of happiness and adventure, and fall in love. Whereas Finn, can't. It only holds him back. However, for Jake, it builds him up into the person he is. A loving Husband, father, and brother. It only makes Finn miserable. I hope what I'm saying makes sense.

When you fall in love and settle down you are no longer a beast you slow down settle and lose your exceptional abilities when you plumpen

I could really relate to what she said, she also says "hard meat don't get eat" in this episode . she wants to stay hard so she can continue to be self sufficient and survive. If she falls in love she might go soft because she depends on someone else and has a weakness in that the other person is capable of truly hurting her. So she stays alone so that she never has to risk experiencing that pain. If Finn left her or died after she fell for him she is worried she might not have the skills she had before she met him to survive on her own. Also if they get together there is a risk that they may get too comfortable around each other and stop seeing each other as exceptional and one or both of them might fall out of love, which would be sad.

It means they have better things to do than fall in love. Some people have high callings.

Well the thing is, they just weren't dating in a traditionally accepted way that most view it - they both live independent lives doing their own things, and stay in touch and see each other when they both have the time and are around, but it's not this codependent thing that modern relationships are, where people feel like they have to be together in EVERYTHING they do. They don't have to go on adventures together, they don't have to live together - they know that their lover is out there doing their own thing, and they'll see each other when fate's wind blows them back to the same place at the same time. They're both very free-willed and move around 'as the wind blows', in that sense. They're in love, but don't want to tie the other down from living their life!

Finn and Huntress are together, just not the same way Bubblegum and Marcy are, and they aren't together the way Jake and Lady are, or Mr. Pig and Trunks, or Finn's parents, or Jake's parents, and so on. All them them have different types of relationships. Jake didn't live with Lady all the time. Finn doesn't either. They still hang out. They are still a couple. They just spend most of their time alone. Many animals are monogamouse but don't hang out together constantly.

Normal betty, ice king to simon and finn stays the same (without his prosthetic which had fallen off his arm when he got into golb's mouth anyway) Then bmo (holding tini jake) sings a song to calm him down, that happens to stop the beast from attacking them and everyone starts singing that song and the beasts get "paralized"(? By it, while golb is still intact, jake takes the form of a megaphone (to amplify the sound of all the people singing) and gets very close to golb opening a tunnel that simon and finn use to escape, but betty doesn't, she tries to stop golb with the crown's wish but doesnt work, then she wishes for her deepest desire (the safety of simon) and golb starts doing weird noises and shit till betty and golb fuse together and flee (the beasts get destroyed in the proces) I hope its understandable

Did it really? In Fionna and Cake it seems to me he actually still doesn't know how to come to peace about things, Losing Jake, romances, and even how to help Simon, he just copes, because he's never actually been taught well inoeder to deal with them, nor have the emotional support that he needs. (Because even though it's rumored that he gets with huntress wizard still, it's only casual, like a hookup perhaps, nothing major or an actual relationship.)

@@Yusa_Beach you’re right. He does cope more after the loss of Jake. It probably took such a toll on him that he had to go back to his old ways. Maybe huntress wizard is the only girl he goes and sees. He probably spends a lot of time killing beasts with his bare hands to cope with the loss of Jake, and he helped Simon to keep his mind off Jake, while helping Simon keep his mind off Betty.
