My favorite part is when he first walks into the gym and opened up his money tin, the coach didn't even count it before throwing him the shorts. The coach saw the fire in his eyes and gave him a chance. The coach is a real MVP.

Powerful moment at 0:13 with the young girl and the homeless guy. She is young, full of life and holding her dream in the form of a notebook. He is older, bloodied but unbowed by his circumstances. He still has his dream with what little money he has. They still recognize each other; they still are looking for something better. It doesn't matter where you are in life and how old you are. If you are still breathing and able, you can achieve what your mind conceives. May God bless you all.

Pierce Egan, a famous boxing writer from the 19th century wrote: " No men are more subject to the caprice or changes of fortune than pugilists. Victory brings them fame, riches, and patrons. Their bruises are not heeded in the smiles of success. Basking in the sunshine of prosperity, their lives pass on pleasantly until defeat comes and reverses the scene. Then, covered with aches and pains, distressed in mind and body, assailed by poverty, wretchedness, and misery; their friends forsake them. The towering fame expired and no longer the plaything of fashion, they fly to inebriation for relief and a premature end puts a period to their misfortunes."

Fuck yes. I'm the happiest i've ever been. To anybody out there going through a tough time. Keep fucking grinding, keep persevering towards your goals and your dreams. I cried watching this because I can relate. No, I’m not homeless.I’m just a single father dealing with a baby mama drama situation.I’m the one taking care of my kid.I was a goal oriented person and an achiever and I was on my way to the top with my career/job but I had to quit cause of racism and my son was born.I took full responsibility for him cause I can’t trust his mother cause she got some issues.I’m a fan of boxing and never in my wildest imagination thought about fighting until 2 months ago when I decided that I need to fight back when life hits you.I need to fight so I can have enough money to fight for my son’s custody, I want to raise awareness and and put up a charity for Orphans all over the world and stray dogs.I remember when I walked in my gym and met my coach for the first time and told him about my situation. Now I’m just waiting for my debut fight. Will show this to my coach.Hope all of your dreams will come true! In 22/08/2022. I separated after discovering my ex-wife had been cheating on me for 5 years out of the 10 years I was married to her. after the separation I went into depression I got anxiety, I asked for a vacation from my job and 2 months when I went back to work I was fired, I was at rock bottom, I used anxiolytics and anti-depressants to sleep, I watched this video I started going to the gym and fighting jiu- jitsu, I got a better job and today thank God I'm doing very well. I just wanted to thank you, good man or woman who posted this video on KZfaq to remind us that we are all children of God and that we "still have our soul" today I make videos and try to help men and women who are going through exactly what I went through.

This made me shed a tear....I’m a fighter myself & only we know the hardships we endure. Sometimes the ones that become world champions aren’t the ones that have it all laid out for them. Sometimes it’s the ones that have all odds stacked against them but use it as fuel to reach the top. Remember these words....Marcos Paz will become a world champion one day not too far . In Jesus name💯.

Marcel Lemonde if you're ready to work hard, ready for the discipline, the dedication, the struggles, and the pain that comes with this sport go for it. This sport isn't for everybody

The part where he is hustling by street fighting and making some dough as the clip transitions into the money slap and then the sound of the mitts meeting his punches is just pure poetry.
